AGAIN IT WAS "SYMBOLISM" LIKE PREVIOUS MOVIES THAT ARE SIMILAR LIKE THE ONES KEYE & PEELE DOES;EXAMPLE:"GET OUT" -- EVEN SO THEY COULD HAVE USED DIFFERENT HOOD MAIN CHARACTERS INSTEAD OF THE STEREOTYPICAL PIMP, PROSTITUTE, AND DRUG BOY THAT THEY LIKE TO HAVE US PORTRAYED AS.... THE TEACHER, COLLEGE STUDENT, & CONSTRUCTION WORKER FROM THE HOOD COULD HAVE MADE THE DISCOVERY OF THE RACIST PLOT, DESTROYEDTHE LAB AND THE MESSAGE STILL WOULD HAVE WORKED THAT THIS MOVIE TRIED TO SEND OR IMPLY... I like the development of the characters. The prostitute seem to be a victim of her surroundings cause she was smart. The dealer and pimp found a sense of community. Like in real life when ur in the streets we have a realization that we have to do better if not for ourselves then for the kids.

Thanks for sharing. Appreciate your viewpoint. I also agree with you going into this I didn’t like the stereotype characters or the use of the N-word but it fits for this story. If you look beyond the entertainment, a lot was said. This movie covers a lot of different issues and I think it’s intended to be a wake call. I almost feel like need the watch it again with pen and paper to get all the points. But the the mom and her automated responses, represented how self absorbed he was. He cared but it wasn’t until he really needed her did he open the door to actually check. And in my opinion the stereotypical characters actually fit because even though they’re the lowest of low, there’s aspects in each them that we can relate and it humanizes them. Society is quick to pass judgement and dehumanize but that’s part of the programming. It’s by design. And it being in the chicken made me think about when Popeyes came out with their chicken sandwich and they had lines for days in multiple locations. Multiple cities…Really what was that about.

The scholars in this fake documentary are a joke. We know she wasn't black. Coins, paintings and sculptures have her as white. She certainly didn't look mixed race. In any case being told she was black from the start was wrong. Not mixed race, but black. You start a so-called documentary by lying and then there are the shoddy Roman costumes. Again someone thinking Africa is a country and not a continent. Extremely doubtful she would have had any black heritage. I hope the Egyptians do get to sue Netflix. Doesn't matter if the woman playing Cleopatra was of mixed race. We are told by some woman in the trailer for Queen Cleopatra was black. Actually Egyptians did understand the difference between races. In tombs Nubians are shown as blacker than Egyptians. Egypt may be in Africa but it is closer to Greece and Roman than other places in Africa.

Very nice things you have to say about him, Tupac would give his approval on your review. Tupac was like a father figure to me growing up and we were same age but yet he always seemed like an older brother. He never would say one bad thing about his Momma, and even in an interview on Venice beach (which is one of my favorites because he is so candid) he would not say one bad word about his absent father. Tupac was all about his "progression to be a man" and he always told the TRUTH whether right or wrong. Its sad to hear Billy Garland now on social media platforms tell lies about Tupac and his mother for that matter. Tupac was more of a MAN than Billy is now at 60 some odd years old this guy has never learned. God bless you- Heath

@denamoviewsreviews ... Afeni did have a husband to help raise Tupac... His name is Mutulu Shakur. He signed on ti be Tupac's pops. He didn't have to do that! Mutula and Afeni BOTH taught Tupac about the principles of the Black Panthers. And Mutulu was eventually sent to prison on dubious charges. He's still alive and still in prison. So all I'm saying is that Afeni did the smart thing and got with a man to help her. And Mutulu stepped into the thankless role of "step-father." It takes a special man to do that. SO YOU SHOULD GIVE MUTULA HIS FLOWERS TOO!

@@denaviewsreviews No problem Ms. Dena! Interestingly, Dr. Mutulu Shakur was just released from prison back in December 2022, after serving 37 years of a proposed 60 year sentence. He has Myeloma, (blood cancer) he's not doing too good right now, and he's on his death bed. I just thought it would be nice to pay a little respect to the man who also raised Tupac and give him his "flowers" while he is still alive.

1) Cleopatra and many other Egyptian women were having sour milk baths, basiclly they were whiter that white people. 2) Cleopatra`s descent is not unkown it is very well documented, her mother was of Ellenic origin, a member of her close family which is why she was not considered a b-astar-d. 3) Africa is not the "black continent". Northen Africans are of mediterranean descent. 4) "Black" people were considered enemies of Egypt and a pharao even had them paint on his sandals so that he can step on them. 5) Egyptians are some of the most studied people in the entire world, DNA included. They are descendands of their ancient Egyptians and this is not up for debate. 6) The only "black people who were going to Alexandria (an Ellenic city in Egypt), were predominantly slave traders. 7) Cleopatra herself is dipicted in infinite things that are saved to this very day. 8) Feeling bad about your own lack of history does not mean you can attack and steal the one others have!

@@denaviewsreviews Cleopatra was African, but of Ellenic ethnicity, this is not up for debate, neither is the fact that northen Africans are not black. Africa is not the crandle of civilization, it is the crandle of endless war, curraption and obscurity. The real crandle of civilization is Mesopotamia. The 3 greatest civilizations are The Ellins, China and Egypt, they are not the crandles tho as this goes to modern day Iraq, even tho Ellas is the crandle of modern day civilization. Some years ago it was believed that humanity started in Mesopotamia, today findings show Africa, tomorrow something else, it doesn`t matter anyway and by no means any civilization was black, exept for the places where black people live, there are images from literaly all the great civilizations and many things are very well documented. You need to stop relaying in false info by black supremasists and open a book, your lack of education is leading you to lunacy. Lastly accept reality and move on, we live in the present.

Black people are the original people of Africa and all the countries within Africa as well so we do not have to claim anyone or anything. ALL COME FROM US! It has always been those derived from the original with the issue of lighter skin tone; it’s just not that deep or important to care about😄🤭 You are absolutely right, EGYPT is located in Africa and that FACT can not be changed.
