I think it would be cool to see K&T 10 be moved back to Stearns and used on the BSFSRy’s passenger trains. I know that it’s highly unlikely for that to happen, but it’s an interesting concept.
@CincinnatiSouthernProductions2 ай бұрын
As cool of an idea that is, I don’t think that’s gonna happen. Unfortunately K&T 10 was taken out of service in the 1970s due to some issues. I don’t remember what they are. However, number 10 will be restored cosmetically. BSFSRY owns steam engine, it’s 0-8-0 and has been remembered to K&T 14. Eventually 14 will be restored, the restoration has been on hold due to some legal problems with the contractors, restoring it or something like that.
@SouRwy4501Productions2 ай бұрын
@@CincinnatiSouthernProductions I know. I just thought I’d throw out the idea. Also, K&T 14 is an 0-6-0, albeit a heavy 0-6-0 with a boiler large enough for an 0-8-0.
@CincinnatiSouthernProductions2 ай бұрын
@@SouRwy4501Productions whoops, my bad you are correct it is an 0-6-0. Personally, I would love to see that happen myself. I had an idea as well I thought about having 10 up there at Stearns for static display. Another idea I had is for 4501 to be dressed back up as K&T 12 and do a few trips or a passing of the torch when K&T 14 is finished.
