Not water proof.. suitable for rc drift

To make it waterproof you can do one of 3 things…you can either 1) place the blue box inside a box itself so water doesn’t get in (look at how Traxxas put their receiver inside a water tight receiver box for an example) , 2) open up the case and spray some Conformal Coating (or similar product) - it basically puts a thin layer down on the circuit board so that if any water does get on it, it just runs off and doesn’t affect the electrics 3) the other way to waterproof stuff like this is to put Blutack on all the ports so that they are all sealed so no water can get in. I use both 2) and 3) to water proof my electronics when racing my Tamiya TT01e at club level - I’m from the UK so it rains quite regularly in winter as well as gets quite muddy and cold. The same principle used to waterproof one type of RC electronics applies to all RC electronics. Just be careful you don’t cover the ‘pins’ of using anything like ‘Conformal coating’ as that will affect the signal passing between the wire and the electronics. (Think of it like putting something over the pins on a plug and the plugging it into a socket but nothing happens. Also, remember these aren’t submarines or boats so if you are using this in a car /truck to drive through water /mud etc remember to clean it completely afterwards - so dry off any water/mud, brush off any sediment etc etc

@@shengsgarage622 I’ve seen people use this in the WPL D12 ‘Suzuki Carry’ truck - do you know if it will be able to run of the stock power system (so non lipo power?) I’d love to get this, but worried I need to switch to lipo and do all sorts of other mods to get it to work.

@@friktionrc yes I use it on wpld12 also...connect esc and servo to function it...no need use extra battery
