Go to Copenhagen for a visit. Come to to jutland to stay. Jutland got much more danish culture sightings of old Denmark. From Aalborg to Tønder all the small and big towns in between got history and sightseeing. Just take Ribe (in south jutland) it has something called viking market where you can view how viking settlers lived. And also a great market with survivers. Or go to north jutland and visit the old ww2 bunkers. Or experience the fishing frenzy in Hvidesande in the month September where millions of harrings comes to Denmark to spawn. Or relax on the small island of Rømø where there are also great ww2 bunkers. Or Fanø for its kite festival where thousands of Kits fly. Or Manø to see the wild eagle population. Or visit Oksbøl during "open hede" (open field) where the danish military showcases its arms from jets to tanks. Where you can get up close to them.
