Seems you've got a older 2000/2001 model with the more reliable ABS II and not the notorious unreliable iABS introsuced with the 2001/2002 model year. I've got 3 R1100S of the 98/99 model year. A red one with everything original. A yellow one with sport suspension, shorter paralever strut and a more modern and more sporty alcantara covered gel seat. And a black one for spares.

Lovely! Got one yesterday, same abs model abs model like yours. Find the front brake very spongy. Other than that, all 👍

Go for braided steel brake lines. You should replace the original brake lines on these old beemers anyways as they start to release rubber particles into the braking fluid over the decades, ruining your ABS pump.

Now that's Italian! Those old enough remember that spaghetti commercial. I have a 1991 s4 in white with a silver hardtop. Looks like it's from Naboo. Having trouble balancing the two piece driveshaft. Any help is appreciated. She's no race car more like smooth silk on a warm summer night. Mine has flat pistons and my Alfa mechanic said they're usually domed. So I may be down on compression. If you know anything about that let me know. Maybe it's ready for Boost!
