Worked for the Middlesex Corporation for 15 years and was with them when they bought out Stews company around 98,99 and acquired their asphalt plant in Leesburg. That plant was then taken down some years back. Live in Inverness now but never made to visit this place. Wish i did now.

@@TheAdventureSchmuck I actually was hired as an entertainment technician at LEGO land Florida last week! I was born and raised in Polk County. The last time I was at cypress gardens was when I was 8-9 years old. I miss the park. Most of my co-workers had never been or heard of cypress. During my onboarding training I was able to walk the park and the first place I went was the gardens! Thank you so much for capturing this footage years ago.

by far the best ride at lagoon. i live only like 25 minute away so we go a lot during the summer. almost every time we go i ride this ride. its SOO fun. i start to grey out on the ending part after the roll. And i can only ride it about 3 times max before i start to feel sick. but despite that i still love the ride.

Thank you for your detailed video. I have been emailing Ocean World in Regards to some of the details you stated but they are guaranteeing me that the kids slides/park and all activities are open/available all 7 days of the week. Do you think it was closed for maintenance or something. We would like to take advantage of each and all the activities when we go. Was there a sign posted stating that the slides are only available during the weekend. This will help me decide if to buy for the weekday or weekend though I rather the weekday because I'm sure it will be less hectic/crowded.

They definitely run the water slides 7 days a week during the summer / peak season. I filmed this video during the Off Season (March 2024) where the slides were closed during the weekdays. Well Panama City Beach is nearly 300 miles from Rainbow Springs State Park. Definitely not convenient. The closest decent beach is probably Daytona Beach, but that is still 100 miles.
