Thank you for this video! I will be knitting moby sweater and was going to deal with sleeve short rows on my own, and I was so happy to hear you did that as well! Really love Another Lace Tie Up, will be knitting it in a thin yarn, and the costal tank, oh my god so beautiful!

Now I feel completely sold to make my Moby sweater in a similar colourway, I had bought the yarn but just couldn't quite commit, it looks so lovely!! Also 3 months in from an ankle injury and it is brutal how long everything takes, I also seem to be pushing my ankle too far occasionally 😂 given I'm like 3 months late to this video I'm sure it's a lot better but feel better soon!!

So helpful! I frogged so many projects back at Christmas. It felt really discouraging because it looks like everyone I see on social media wear’s everything they make. Thanks for sharing your knitting struggles 🧶

Thanks! Hopefully moving forward I can be more intentional with what I create, but there’s also no use in having items I won’t wear taking up space

For the pink summer tank with cream band, perhaps you can over dye it to a colour you like?

I love it that you don't waste the yarn and wanna reknit them and frog them. I don't know if I could to this. I just started knitting a few months ago but I did crochet a lot a few years back and I didn't follow any instructions so I have 3 garments from this time and I like one a lot even though the fit is not perfect but I plan to frog the other two some time in the future.

Definitely takes a bit of courage, but I love the yarns so much and I wanna get the most out of them!

I’m amazed at how many projects you did in a year and this is just the list of frogged items! It breaks my heart to think about ripping back items I’ve made but I do have several that get no wear and I should probably just frog for a better purpose. I’m definitely going to think more seriously about it. Thank you for the inspiration!

for the pink yarn that you don't like the color of you could maybe make a ton of scrunchies ooor a handkerchief or headband of some sort? or you could also use it and make a "my little secret crop" by jessie mae as an undergarment? other than that I'm also out of ideas LOL

Love that Birdie top, would be great for vacation wear. I love knitting winter sweaters now but that could be a fun summer project 🤗 For the 8pm tank, i knitted a similar pattern and I created the bust dart. I purchased Nurture bralette and I guess I will try real bust dart in this pattern 😉

Do you have a step by step on what you used to learn. And what order etc. On in info overload and I feel nothing I find gives a good break down with cohesive steps. Also visual can't do books

About the body length for the petite knit sweater: she sometimes says the body length, but she means from the collar down and not under the arms and down. I can’t imagine how you could add 20 more centimeters without it looking really weird 😊

That totally makes sense - I just reread the pattern and you’re right 🤦🏻♀️ so I guess mine is the right length after all!

Thank you for selecting me as a winner! I love the bodysuit. I’ve never had good luck wearing body suits but I do love the stitch design. I wonder if I could modify it just into a sweater by omitting the lower portion? Thank you for another lovely episode full of inspiration!

Thanks for sharing! I just finished a cardigan with the ecological wool a few months ago. Since it's loosely plied it does pill quite a bit, just as a head up. Not sure the dimensions of your garment, but I knit oversize (+ balloon sleeves) in half fishermans rib and only used about 2.5 skeins so my guess is you won't need to buy more. I was also able to block quite a bit of length (maybe 2-3 inches) into the body in case you need it to grow a bit. Happy knitting!
@stitchmagicknitting Жыл бұрын
Thanks for the insight on the ecological wool! I can see how pilling would be an issue

I just found your channel and love watching how your knitting progression came along in 2022 and what your intentions are going into 2023! My favourite yarn store is The Knitting Loft! The store is so cozy, the owners are so sweet, and their online store is amazing! I can’t wait to continue watching your knitting journey :)

My favorite yarn store is my local yarn store: The Black Squirrel. It is such a beautiful store and every time I go I have a great experience. At home I don't have any local yarn store so it feels great having one now that I am living alone and in college. The store also has a giant crochet and knit squirrel that is knitting right outside and it looks very cute.

So glad I recently found your channel! I was so impressed with all of your knits you made in 2022. I’m currently knitting the Lucy Top (I’m on sleeve island right now, but thank goodness these sleeves aren’t too long). As for my favorite yarn shop… I’d have to say a tie between Wool Warehouse and my local yarn shop Wollhaus. They have Sandnes garn and some gorgeous Japanese yarn called Ito Sensai that I’ve been eyeing for awhile.

I totally agree with being more intentional with making everyday pieces I know I will get a lot of wear out of. I’ve been making so many statement pieces recently! My favorite yarn store right now is wool and the gang because it was the first really good quality yarn that I have begun purchasing. I can’t wait to explore more yarn types and brands this year!

Love this video❤ I also feel like I really need to think through what I knit! Since I’ve only knit for about a year everything seems so exciting that I don’t always think through it enough before I start! My favorite yarn store is my local Heimen Husfliden here in Oslo! They have loads of nice Norwegian yarn, I love sandnes garn and Rauma and they basically have all of that✨ Perfect for any project almost!

Congrats on hitting 1.5k, and your comments on intentionality really resonate with me! My favorite online yarn store has been ICE yarns because of the affordability, but they do ship in bulk, which is part of the reason behind my giant yarn stash :)

i haven’t been able to branch out with yarn stores much yet as i don’t have that much money to spend on more luxury yarns, but i like wool warehouse simply because of how quickly they deliver! i usually receive whatever yarn i’ve ordered within a couple of days since i live in england 😄 good luck to everyone for the giveaway and thank you for another great video! ❤
