I think the stock Intercooler should do just fine with 500whp, lol. I say that bc the ETS TMIC core on an STI can handle 500whp and it’s much smaller than the OEM front mount on my ‘25 Type R. Just a thought. Pretty sure even with the type r, all you need is AOS, intake, downpipe, injectors, fuel pump, MHI turbo with tune and you’re good for 500whp.

Does the T51R mod whistle go off constantly to where its annoying? Its like the 50/50 BOVs everyone installs on their turbo hatcbacks...its just constant. My 2016 Focus ST is big turbo, built engine, BNR71, about 500whp..but Im about to upgrade my turbo and one option is the T51R mod (only $200 upgrade) and at first i wanted it..but Im hearing video after video where it sounds amazing, but then...its just a constant high pitch. Wouldnt bother me as much, but my wife and young kids might get sick of hearing a constant whistle. Those Type-R's havent bested me yet, but Ive had a few that came close! Ive always been curous how much they can put down on the stock turbos..I can handle C8's, lots of fast 500-600hp cars..but with cars like this you can never tell exactl whats been done until you either walk away, or you get a good look at their tails 😅

4:06 So, I've got one of these in my 2019 Type R. I've noticed that you can still use Hondata App with Apple Carplay/Android Auto connected. You just have to let carplay connect and load first, start your music or whatever then you can swap over to the Hondata app. The only thing you can't do is VIEW both at the same time.

You’re so lucky you got them to keep all the stickers on. Mine had minor swirls all over the piano black trim and wing on the outside. And a few little scratches on the body. It bothers me so much lol you fart near these things and they scratch

Thank you for making your videos. I just completed my fk8 build and almost went almost all the exact same build as you. All of your videos helped me tremendously. so I could make reliable power. Dynoed at 435hp on pump gas and 510hp on e85 blend custom tune. Been driving it daily as I have other cars for my weekend drives. Still in the break in period. Will have to try this mod out once I have more time with the car. Couldn't have done it without you

To be honest just do a 450 or 525 walbro pump and do your return line yourself. It will definitely save yourself a lot money then buying another one already done for you. 🤌 -don’t be scared.
