“sitting in the club with sugar daddies” is too real. i don’t know how many girls i know or have seen are striving for that. young & older girls want to live that lifestyle until those men start taking advantage of them. & even then, they will endure the pain & abuse. it seems like they would do anything for some lame brand name clothes, purses, makeup, cars & attention. sad

aaahh “being a beard fit him better” i didn’t get that at first, but i felt like it meant something more. i didn’t get why his beard would be so important in the line, but now it makes soo much sense

These dudes are the next level even if they have Ghost writers still don't care because it takes a whole different type of person to bring words to life many successful people in the hip hop industry have Ghost writers but these people got great chemistry cadence flow rhythm back and forth next level and they started to actually write some shit themselves you should check out longhorne shotgun

Not sure if you check the comments but here’s one for you: Em has a line “6 feet deep.. give you a B.. even if I was 3 feet 11” well, 6B311 is a Nordic Flight that had the cast of Killshot (2008 movie) on it. The flight ended up getting cancelled. The movie is of a hitman who is hired to kill the protagonists who are the COLSON’s. All of this I have googled and confirmed. I thought the 3 feet 11 was a really odd line so put that verse into google and boom… 💥 by far the deepest rap verse I’ve ever heard. I encourage anyone to do their own research.

I actually felt like although very scary of a track. This was to basically have his family seperate from his own actions. Because usually family always gets involved with a member that does heinous crimes etc. Even though they may have no clue. So this was to seperate Drakes actions from his family. I also agree with everything you guys are saying too.

On first listen I was certain this was the greatest diss track of all time. But honestly this transcends diss tracks. This is a complete and total castration of Drake's character and soul. A song like this is life-threatening to Kendrick. He speaks with such certainty and conviction about the things he alleges. This isn't even a song, this is something entirely new. I echo what others are saying, you two are the only people reacting to this the way a human being with a soul should react. "Fuck a rap battle, he should DIE". The magnitude of this song cannot be overstated. As amazing as Not Like Us is, I'm sad how quickly this track got overshadowed. Not Like Us is important of course and has completely taken over the world, but how can people hear this and just move on to the next thing? I cannot stop thinking about this song still. I've been a music fanatic for my entire life and nothing has ever shaken me as much as Meet the Grahams. It was hard to fall asleep the night this dropped.

I'm pretty sure in position Cole is in I'd say he'll give us his perspective on how he saw all of this ending, including the industry antics and personal relations within the industry. That's a huge W on his side and for his fanbase and people who love the art of music. I don't know where Kendrick's next route will be though in terms of making music, will he further this agenda of exposing these individuals in the industry and speak on more things his horrified about?? oh, and does uncovering the blinds on some of these crimes being done in the industry does it count as a form of snitching maybe or will he be considered a hero for shedding it to light? I just wanna know, cause I know it's for the greater good and all but won't it somehow taint his street cred according to "culture" manual applied in the states? anyways I'm ready to digest what's to come and appreciate the tracks that come with it.

Yo my initial thoughts on Cole's apology was the same as the general hip-hop communities, but did not like the way he executed it, it felt somewhat that at dreamville festival, Kendrick and his people may had tipped him off not to go further with beef and made it clear to him that it was between him and Drake.. I say that due to the "shots" he took at Cole on the Like That record, we could decipher already it was just a stray. This clearly signaled to Cole that there must be serious animosity between his piers and decided to bow out. I couldn't understand his perspective clearly then but I do now and I commend it. I still do feel some type of way though cause if he was really Drake's friend he would have tried to at least sit him down and paint out how seriously denting/scathing this beef could be towards his brand, especially now that he is finding out most of his friends in the industry are turning on him and him now understanding that Kendrick really despises Drake and really wants to take him down. Those are just my thoughts for now on that matter. Don't flame me guys this is just my opinion and I'm not saying Cole should be responsible for Drake's actions cause he did ask for the smoke, but at least should have been a bit honest to him as a friend if he knew how deep it would get.
