My strategy for this battle, I had Gallantmon CM, MarineAngemon, and Imperialdramon FM I had Marine Angemon spam Ocean Love and Safety Guard while Imperialdramon and Gallantmon rotated through Atk up field, Def up field, speed up field, and Def down field. Guard when he starts charging for Tyrant Cluster. If I had an opening, both Gallantmon and Imperialdramon would pop Accel boost and then their sig Arata snowballs pretty quickly if you don't kill him fast enough, and he can pop Accel Boost before Tyrant Cluster, so the trick is a well rounded team with enough Speed so you don't get speed blitzed, while also having the firepower so you're not outhealed by his Tyrant Cluster, but also the bulk to survive him cause he hits hard and only hits harder as the fight drags out. A penetrate skill is basically required unfortunately so pick your poison I don't care if you think you can survive Tyrant Cluster or if Safety Guard will save you, block it or he's healing off all the damage you just did to him. If he uses Runaway Power KILL HIM IMMEDIATELY Hope this helps anyone who came to this video struggling with this fight. I had to grind for this and yes they do expect you to have Lv99 Mega or Ultra for this. Have fun and good luck and please use Guard. Side note for those of you in Complete Edition, apparently Speed as a mechanic was nerfed. Idk how true this is or how effective speed charge spam is now

My strat with this fight. I had to use Gankoomon for his Master's Disposition to survive his Tyrant cluster and then heal spam with Marineangemon and after that, slowly whittle him with Beelzemon bm

This happened on the second playthrough right? Personally having played the game again on PSVita to get the Platinum in the Japanese version I made a new strategy which make this one horrible outdated as it was much more effective, maybe at some point I will make a new video to help more of those who want it to beat Arata on Hard on the first playthrough

@@Vavacung2 Oh I get it, in the Playstation version there are some Locked Digimon (mainly the Royal Knights) that you can't evolve before you complete the story, I think in Steam and Switch they changed that

this is in my opinion the worst fight in the game either i die super quicly on hard or one shot him on normal without any fun i mean cmo demon lords and most of the fusions are crazy hard to get without using training strats or farms i had lv 91 alphamon oryuken and still coundt beat him on hard gosh what pisses me off even more is that leopardomon and mother eater are jokes compared to this fight

I used Wiseman’s 25% cut attack myself. Funnily enough, Arata was my first Game Over in the main story and actually forced me to guard, so I remember this battle fondly.

That's why they nurfed the speed stat in the Complete edition of the game. They also lowered the stat increase for hard mode from x2.0 to x1.5 and it's honestly better for it.

@@AZOLO64 If you ever decide to replay it again I highly recommend the re-release. The stat increase on hard mode was changed from x2.0 to x1.5 and the speed mechanic was reworked so you don't have to constantly spam it to stay competitive with the CPU.
