Thanks for the very helpful video and the time you took to really make it easy to follow. Maybe do a little more time on the slides with a lot of information on them and explain them a little more. Keep it up!

In practice, how do you stay 500 feet and 2,000 feet from clouds? Looking straight up, I can't tell if a cloud is 500 feet up or 10,000 feet up. I imagine that if you're far away and you're at 400 feet and the cloud appears to be the same distance from your drone as the ground is then you're a bit too high. Is it more of a general guideline?

Very enjoyable video. Bald Eagles in flight certainly do require patience. They can sit on a perch until your arms are about to fall off. At 6:41 it looks like your sky or bird mask in post missed the wing tips. I have had great success using subtract color range for cleaning up masks around wing feathers.
@JeffreyBaranJr.Ай бұрын
@@gscottfuller Thank you very much! And yes I did notice that after the fact and I appreciate your tip about subtract color range. I'm going out shooting today and tomorrow and I'll put that to the test.

@@JeffreyBaranJr.Also, I forgot to mention that you did a great job working with what looked like challenging lighting conditions. Birds in flight in cloudy conditions is about as tough as it gets but you got some nice shots including some moody ones that embraced the weather.

@gscottfuller Your spot on with that, and thank you so much. My keep rate was probably 15% and it's somthing I've struggled with in general. It's made me question if I should buy a full frame with all these black Friday sales going on.
