Norman Schwarzkopf did exactly what he was asked to do and did it in the shortest amount of time possible. Now the rest of the generals since then with the exception of General Petraeus did suck!

Interesting interview with Molly McCloskey, daughter of Jack McCloskey, basketball GM when the Detroit Pistons "bad boys" became champions..about her non fiction book about her brother, who played basketball at NCAA Div 1 (Duke?) and then developed schizophrenia. A very important and interesting story about life in the context of a family falling apart, through separation, schizophrenia of a key member, and related situations. Ms. McCloskey is a powerful descriptive writer who has done tones of important things, including teaching writing, living and teaching in Ireland, and supporting African people through on the ground aid work. It is a privilege to see and hear her talk about the book about her brother and what happens...under schizophrenia, an illness that afflicts millions of people and of course impacts their families.
