I was initially expecting to hear 'Welcome to Fantasy Babble!' - but I figure you don't want to be visited by the ghost of Ricardo Montalban. :D

Either way, I can't wait for more. 💜 Imagine Fantasy Babble and The Cybrarian doing a collaboration for the Hour of the Dragon..😮😎

Marvelous collection; I particularly appreciate how the stories are chronological based on date of publication. You can really see the organic growth of the Hyperborean mythos. On a separate note, will any of these wall papers be available for purchase/download? They are fantastic.
@FantasyBabble5 күн бұрын
Perhaps I'll post them somewhere in due course.

The author cheekily used the same plot for a King Kull tale. Another great Babble presentation.😊

This was great! Would love to hear you do some of Fritz Leiber's Fafhrd and Gray Mouser stories if it's a possibility.

I think I mentioned to another listener that Lieber's stuff isn't in the public domain unfortunately.
@richardferguson689311 күн бұрын
@FantasyBabble Well that is disappointing. You'd do those stories justice as a narrator.

So a couple days ago I randomly stumbled over your Lovecraft stories and your channel due to youtube autoplay. I was so impressed with how you made the story come alive with your reading. I am going to go through all of your Lovecraft readings. Tonight I was just thinking how awesome it would have been if you did Conan. Despite not seeing it before, I find that you just uploaded your first Conan story a day ago. I am quite excited for more of this.

This is great Ian! I'm a Marine Corps Iraq war vet and one of the best most enjoyable ways for me detached from all the chaos is by listening to short stories(Dark/Fantasy and Horror). I realy appreciate all the work you and the HB/FB team put in.

The Conan Chronicles are some of my favourite sword & sorcery tales, but l would like to put in a request for a reading of Fafhrd & The Gray Mouser by Fritz Leiber, fantastic storys. And another brilliant story tho likely still in copyright, is The Anubis Gates by Tim Powers, possibly the best time travel story ive ever read.

I think the Leiber stories are still under copyright, also.
