This might be the version I played when I was younger Back when my dad owned a street fighter II arcade in the 90s. I remember then going to an arcade place and played a real version of SFII and being disappointed that Balrog couldn’t throw Hadoukens with his punches, and that you couldnt switch Characters mid match by pressing the start button.

I remember playing this in the arcades in Mexico. Everyone picked balrog because if you spammed his punch with hadokens, the other player would be unable to move lol

This was the only edition available of street fighter when I was a kid. On the intro, it said "new edition" instead of champion edition. Then they replaced it with the original "champion edition". Ever since then I've been looking for this version but never found one. Can someone tell if there's a rom available for this version that'll allow me to play it on mame or something?
