Mine was a lutino female that I had since she was nine weeks old. She loved me to pieces and had many of these signs you mention. I was her safe haven. She gave me 17 years of love and, unfortunately, very very unfortunately, I lost her a year ago this month to cancer. She died in my hands. I believe it was the Sunflower seeds I gave her not knowing they were not good for her. I cried so much and I still and forever miss her!

my cockatiel died almost 2 months ago he was 35 days or something he showed all the signs( except for pupil dialating though ) my profile is his picture .this was the time when i asked if he had diarrhea ,he became angry

@@Tweetyscomedyclub probably I AM SAVING MONEY i now have 2 budgies though but it is just not the same She was a cocktiel.Even though she was only a month,she grew really fast.I only had her for a week, but she became really close to me.She'd follow me wherever I'd go and so on.The day before yesterday at night was special.She began to fly a little bit.She came to me . I was writing.I moved my pen aside from me and she gave it to me over and over again. She was healthy.I would let her wonder around the balcony and house.She used to walk as if she pays the bills.anyways,in the afternoon.. She suddenly stooped moving.she didn't even had the strength to lift up her head.I sat beside her for a while.I thought she'd be okay.She was like this the day she arrived as well. My eldest brother was talking to an bird specialist about her condition I just moved from the bird's room to the next room and my father screamed that she died! i felt as if my world crahed I TOOK HER IN MY HANDS .I still could feel the HEARTBEAT . I had HOPE ...............SHE DIED WHILE BEING ON MY HAND ... she was looking at me I COULD FEEL THE PAIN IN HER EYES I still can't accept this.I still feel like she is walking around house or chirping........... She was my roommate and my best friend. 2 days before her death I was crying in my room for something. She noticed and came straight to me.she chirped. She looked as if she is concerned. I can't explain how I feel.I wanna meet her again.... I named her 'Bitlu' as she was really mischievous . (People in my area says Bitla for someone who is mischievous . It's not a real word though.). ......... -Rest well. Bitlu thanks for putting the effort for replying and reading this.... I REALLY APPPERICIATE YOUR WORK Reply

Mine too. My dad brought one in 2019. It was actually his, but he became my best friend. He moved with me from CA to NE for grad school last year. I loved him so much like my own baby. He saved me from checking myself into a mental hospital bc I realized no one would be able to take care of him better than me if I left. He gave my life meaning and I was excited to eventually have a good job after grad school so I could move into a new place with his own room. He used to say peekaboo when I left his sight. He would fly and land on my head. He would press his face in to mine. Take naps on my lap while I worked. We recently came back to CA to visit and my mom had accidentally left the door ajar and he flew out when he heard a startling sound. I miss him so much. My heart will never be the same. 💔 We were both born in June and I lost him last Sunday. I hope to be reunited soon.

Raised cockatiels for 30yrs and the bonding is precious. Know they will want your attention a lot after bonding. The second they hear you come home they will whistle, chatter or even hurl a scream in your direction lol 🐥😄 get your a$$in hear and get me out

Ive done this and all is true about bonding w/cockatiel and hand feeding. Beware once u wean them dont accidentally let them see feeding syringe. I been there. They will remember and start wanting it all over again. So its back to sq 1
