Is there a best practice with refreshing the Excel source data from Power BI if I used an Excel file with a Power Query as the source for the Power BI dashboard? The Power Query in Excel extracts data from an Oracle db. The Excel file is already set up for some analytics and so I would like to keep that file and reference that in Power BI to create a dashboard for another purpose. Thank you.

Switch is great, I'm glad they finally added it to excel as I've used switch or case statements in programming for decades. However, I feel like I would use a lookup function with a list for this example. I think switch is best used to replace situations where the only good solution previously was nested if statements.

If a certain state were to outlaw gambling, the right would scream "communism", etc.... but there's a piece of me that thinks of the whole "cost/benefit analysis" idea and it could make it better. I'm not saying this is the greatest idea, obviously, but for those that don't want to risk their own futures getting caught with illegal gambling and being prosecuted for engaging in it, I think it could be a benefit. I'm not the biggest fan by any means of anything that takes freedom away, etc..., but look at seat belt laws. Many lives have been saved. Well, gambling being outlawed would cause many financial lives to be saved. I'm torn with the idea to begin with. If my state and several surrounding states were to outlaw gambling, that would make it so anyone willing to really be serious in gambling be forced to travel several states to gamble, and then in that process re-consider.

We are thinking we can just abruptly win randomly at any point in time. The casino determines if they will let you will win or not. A big regular gamer that spend alot of their $$$ is a casino favorite and give them more wins over an average poorer gamer. The casino for example this morning. I had a free $30 bet just to prevent me from winning they will make the shooter lose betting 100's just to get me out of the game realizing that is all I have that $30 free bet coupon. Dude shot a #9 and the next roll they bought that #7 wiping us all out but I had no more so their doing things like that FEARING I will win and go to the $5 Computer crap table and win really not wanting to monitor me closely and I end up winning $150 from $30 and they are not trying to hear that in 2024! So it's easier to take me out the game ASAP causing me to lose that 1 bet! Causing the other players to lose at the very same time but they will keep going on betting till they lose their lil $$ we all walking out with no money!!

Gambling at Casino's and lotteries has always been RIGGED don't matter how you look at it!!! A battle of crookes trying to out smart the other side TAKING THE MONEY by manipulation, deception and cheating. These day's TECHNOLOGY has given Casino owners and lottery businesses a HUGE EDGE over the game player. They determine the outcome in advance like in Slots, roulette, Cards, CRAPS, SICBO turning them all into ELECTRONIC COMPUTER LINKED SYSTEMS able to manipulate the outcome able to CONTROL the roulette spins, card delivery, able to control the DICE to COUNTER the numbers you bet on going all around them and then force you to BET more and soon as you do BAM they bring the #7 like clock work causing 10 people at one time to lose like $70 to $100 that roll session. (smaller level gamblers $5 to $10 bets). So the cycle repeat, pattern repeat after 8 times we lost $800 min for that 1 visit. The repeating cycle and patterns are the yellow Banana on the table WE SEE!! Telling the Casino and gaming commission that Banana is rotten and is causing us to get sick; lose over and over it's CHEATING US. Instead of them replacing that rotten Banana on the Table putting a ripe yellow banana to FIX the people from getting sick. AFTER OUR COMPLAINT. They tell us your not looking at a Banana but a green Watermellon on the table. Your just tired, your just having a bad day. But that is a Watermellon you see right there not a banana TRUST US it's nothing RIGGED, no Wifi, no bionic, no electromagnetic. We are not manipulating the DICE in anyway, there is no pattern or cycle you are seeing it's just the green watermellon on the table. Verbally speaking is the furthest they go and leaving it on that note you just having a bad day, While i'm ASKING THEM to go to the CRAPS TABLE by my side so I can PROVE to them that I see a banana and they see the same banana too, same as her or him right there. But THEY REFUSE!!! They are not trying to prove to me that they see a watermellon in any way expecting me to just ACCEPT I am crazy calling a banana a watermellon and NOTHING IS BEING done to fix, change or prove anything that it isn't rigged. They won't allow me to prove it's a banana sitting on that table, they won't prove it's a watermellon as they say it is. your just having a bad day. How am I having a bad day the last 50 visits since Dec 2021 at your casino not winning 50 visits in a row seeing that banana over and over same outcome being drained losing over and over. They turned up the electro magnet level up to a level 5 or 6 from a level 2 or 3 before Dec 2021 was able to win from time to time can't even complain back then but AFTER Dec 2021 ME, and THOUSANDS of regulars at their CRAP TABLES lost over and over to this very day 2024! All someone has to do is CHECK the winning frequency at this casino before Dec 2021 and watch how drastically it dropped the last 3 years overrall after them changing their TABLES Dec 2021 with stronger TECH to manipulate getting the outcome they wanted. These State and fed leaders,Casino owners, gaming commisioners sat down and decided the new wave, form of Gambling forcing it on consumers to accept this way going forth!!! Having no regards, cares about our outcome which is we all losing frequently over and over there. They removed the FUN, the surprise element of winning knowing you will lose to them in advance because they are controlling the dice and countering the numbers we bet each and every roll deciding if they will allow you to win or NOT!! And most o the time if you are not FRESH MEAT you will be drained by this casino determining your ending outcome placing limits on us on what they will allow us to win. So if I come with $500 they will drain it down to like $75 FAST controlling the DICE mainly by waiting till you bet multiple numbers at once across the board and BAM bring the #7 wiping us out within those cycles and patterns. You have $75 left this casino will then let you go back and forth SEESAWING from $5 to that $75 for HOURS never letting you get beyond that $75 so they pretty much is giving you the opportunity to take that $75 and RUN!!! But we don't thinking we can REACH that $500 to $1800 range seesawing over and over but then after 4 or 5 times of going back and forth and you chose to stay then they WIPE YOU OUT fully!! Dec 2021 I used to can take one of their FREE BETS of $50 and turn it into like $450 to $1,000. But NOW the casino places limits on us with free bets, the $$$ we bring to bet; you can double that free bet but can't go any higher this is where the DICE control comes in for 8 hours they kept me from getting over $30 from a $15 free bet. Going back and forth from $5 to $25, back down to $8 go back up to $20 doing this for 8 hours how is that even possible if the dice is free falling and random no magnets, no computer, no manipulation at all they SAY!!! While I'm seeing them countering my numbers over and over going around them. When I bet like #4, #5,#6#8, and #10 leaving the #9 unbetted the very next roll that #9 I didn't bet comes like clock work regardless if you left the #5 out instead of the #9 that #5 will come I seen this like 30 times over and over in a visit. Trying to understand how is this keep happening over and over but I finally realized a computer program is going to do what it's programmed to do until it's turned off! These people are ROBBING THE FUCK out of us!!! Acting if everything is fair and balanced no cheating on their part. Taking our $$$ away from us making us think we have a chance to win a big prize randomly, unexpectedly when it's all pre determined by the first 10 mins they will let you win on a slot machine do you think after driving from 40 mins your going to just leave after winning $150 you going to end up staying and end up losing that $150 and more of your $$$$ getting you hooked thinking you can win something and now they gotta ya SUCKER!!! Give me your MONEY!!! This is a stick up!!! So these day's GAMBLING is you knowing you are dealing with a corrupt system your STUPID enough to just hand over your $$$$ to the Casino and lottery. You don't have to come here!!! But the SEESAWING going back and forth causes us to think we can still win but the seesawing is only when you down to your last. Long as you come out your pockets, and go to the ATM it's no seesawing back and forth your losing non stop till you reach your last amounts and accesses. To stop this madness, it's no addiction you are being TRICKED and manipulated into thinking you can win a big prize over and over randomly. Tell yourself you are a STUPID FUCK for giving your $$$ to a RIGGED OPERATION and that you will not keep being STUPID in messing your life up getting in debt, behind on bills, can't do the things you need to do with your $$$. Your not fresh meat anymore, so they are draining you dry causing you to mess your lively -hood up. Being hostage to their deception and tricks dictating your life selling you a dream!!! Tell yourself your not STUPID and is wise and smart and deserve better by leaving those casinos, lottery alone. let them keep draining the foolish, stupid folk but no longer YOU!!! You woke up now
