So when you feed square bales and you divvy it up by the “flakes” that are already pretty much separated from each other. I’m guessing each one of those “flakes” is one rotation of the masher. If any of that makes sense, am I correct?

That's correct.

I was told a combine auger was designed to run fully extended...and having it run at any other alignment can make the universals wear out faster. I'm sure there are mechanics who can answer with more authority.

This makes way more sense. Honestly, why they don't make 1,500bu combine hoppers is beyond me. Lengthen the combine to make this capacity 1 with the machine.

Hi I just bought a 1034 just like the one in this video. When I was testing the manual controls all the tables worked. Before starting I noticed the load rack was all the way in the rear I pulled the load rack control to bring it to the front to starting position. When I picked up the first three bales the first table did not engage. I tried to manually engage the second table and the controls do not engage it eithe. Any ideas or throughts as to what could be the cause ? I feel like I’m missing something in the sequence of operation or tripped a locking mechanism to the hydraulic system. Any pointers would be

When I was six and a half, I drove a tractor hauling a baler, and wagon. One man grabbed the new bale, and tossed it to another who stacked in on the wagon. That was how early a farm boy started working. I remember it vividly. In fact my memory is so clear that near the end of the first part I could smell the hay. Just a memory but the odor was utterly clear. Hay smells wonderful.

There is a KZbin video that shows how the knotter works. It is old and blurry, but it does show a baler knotter is slow motion. kzbin.info/www/bejne/kKClkGSjmreUb6M

Thanks for posting, always wondered how the inline baler worked compared to a 14T. Part 2 can be all the uses for the twine string after feeding the hay

Does UPS use proprietary routing software?
@tmeyer9463 Жыл бұрын
@@wbball15 I believe they do... from what I've read it is a "learning" software that adapts to driver habits and most frequent stops. In other words, not cheap.

Great idea! I've been thinking about this for years that it would greatly allow farmers to overcome the limitations of the small built in grain tanks on combines, and a simple way of increasing efficiency without increasing labor costs. It would be great if Combine and Cart manufacturers would work together to create a more unified system. Possibly use hydraulic system? Have the combine act as a generator and just send electrical power to run accessory cart auger? So many options!
