Ahhh, I see :) Maybe I should make an episode diving into the psychology of some of the interesting manga characters. Do you have ideas for who those could be? I'm a fan of Attack on Titan, Gin (Silver Fang in English) and Pokemon, but also have some knowledge of DBZ, Naruto and Bleach

Despite Superman not being my favourite hero, he demands respect for the legacy he’s left on comic book history and the superhero genre as a whole. The deep psychological and emotional story can only be a small glimpse into how his creators, two young Jews, must have felt growing up as foreigners in the US. They too felt alienated and Superman is a nice symbol of the hope they probably had for the future!

Well it wasn’t really the case for the Raimi trilogy as I watched this video called Spider-Man 2 doesn’t get Spider-Man and it says that Jameson is the true nemesis as he is the polar opposite of Peter Parker and also the Misconception of Norman Osborn on Tumbler as well because remember what I said about Eddie Brock and Harry Osborn being so much alike?

Mate. I’m being as polite and as respectful as I can be here… It’s quite difficult to understand your comment. You’re not giving me any context for me to understand what you mean. Raimi’s Spider-Man 2? What’s up with that? I don’t understand where you’re going. And as for Jameson, I don’t have an idea of what you mean other than you requested a video about him, which I’ll consider at a later point. Harry and Eddie being similar - don’t know. Haven’t played the Spider-Man 2 game. Only thing I know is they replaced Venoms bond to Eddie with Harry instead. This comment is not to offend you, but if you try to read out loud your own comment, maybe you can hear and understand why it’s difficult for me to follow you 🙏

In a ironic way, Tony's armor is both one of his greatest invention but, at same time, something that affects his growth through his guilt. The armor empowers Tony, allowing to help people but it can also cause him to become dependent of it, enhancing the ilusion of power and control. It basically turns Iron Man identity into a tool that Tony uses to shield himself from his emotional problems. This is why stories and moments in which Tony is prevent from using his armor and has to rely on his brain and ingenuity are so meaningful, bc it represents Tony letting go of the thing that represents all the weight and anxiety he carries inside of himself and choosing to confront the problems by beliving in himself and his own skills.

Great analysis. Riddler has always been very complex, but most people do not understand him and just think he is s joke. However of you actually look deeper you would see that he is far more nuanced than he appears.

Haven’t thought about making a video about Jameson, but maybe it would be an interesting point. If you watch the old animated Spider-Man series from the 2000’s, there’s a storyline there about why he hates Spider-Man. It’s cause Jameson lost his family member due to a masked man, so now he distrust every one who wears a mask and claims to help. You might wanna check that series out. The best animated series I my opinion.

In the comics is way less sympathetic, he hates Spider-Man because he knows he’s a better person than he will ever be, so instead of trying to improve himself he drags Spider-Man to his level. I think this explanation was written when Stan Lee was still writing Spider-Man, so I don’t know if the explanation has changed over time.

I love Superman, but his enemies are never relatable. They are scientists, robots and aliens who want to prove they are Superman's superior. And no; Lex Luthor is not interesting. Batman's villains were once (somewhat) normal people, who got obsessed and went mad.

I totally get you 🙂 the “problem” with Superman is that he’s too OP. It makes it difficult to write villains who can challenge him without focusing primarily on physical strength. One of my favourite superheroes have the same problem: The Hulk…

The idea of a villain being a mirror image of the hero is a well known trait in many stories, including the super hero genre. In my opinion Batman and Spider-man have the best rogues gallery because both have villains that portraits aspects of the hero’s identity. I actually have a Spider-Man’s villains episode in the near future, you might be interested in 🙂 As for Superman and other heroes, I do find similarities with how their villains are written, but once again, Batman (and Spider-Man) have the best, psychological interesting ones 😎

Right well I guess you could notice the reason why Harry Osborn become Venom instead of Eddie Brock in the PS4 Spider-Man game is that they’re pretty much alike if you really about because for the Spectacular Spider-Man version of Eddie Brock I was pretty confused on the episode Nature vs Nurture as was it the lack of honesty or was it some weird sense of entitlement or was it all about the parents?
