Great movie and creepy looking house, I thought it would have been out in the county, not beside a busy road.

A great movie, and an exquisite house that has been unfortunately left to rot. What a shame.

Wow - what a cool video to see. Thanks for posting this. What beautiful moldings and gingerbread trim this place has. I've always been especially curious to see the tower up close, they certainly have it packed full of something. Exotic looking tree across from it with yellow flowers to match. I'd love to know the real history on this house and what kind of people built it and lived there. It must have been a fun house to live in back in it's glory days. Especially before that became a busy road with a car dealership across from it, although now you'd have more to spy on from the tower. I could just see a matching gazebo sitting out in the yard or a hammock under one of those shady trees.

Saw it listed on Zillow today over 5 million...yrs ago it was at 280,000..wow...looks like who ever buys this will tear it down for that money and build commercial stores. 😕
@serenatwilite40056 жыл бұрын
@@JanRaz1955 Hard to imagine something in this state of disrepair going for that kind of money. I've looked at a lot of homes in Los Angeles that look twice this size, in perfect condition, that aren't going for more than 3 million. This must really be some prime commercial property. It's sickening though to think about this beautiful, rare piece of history being torn down to build stores.

Very cool. One of my all time favorite scary movies. Although I have to say I'm bummed that there's not a lake behind it. And the care dealership and busy road doesn't help either. Thanks for sharing!
@dezmodius6 жыл бұрын
there IS a reservoir within walking distance and its where they filmed the "lake" scenes. Access is "private" so go at your own risk.
@serenatwilite40056 жыл бұрын
@@dezmodius Are you sure it was a reservoir? it certainly looks nothing like a reservoir in the movie. I had heard it was filmed at an actual lake, not too far from the house. I can't remember the name of it. What about the ferry scenes in the movie? Would there be a ferry on a reservoir?
@serenatwilite40056 жыл бұрын
I just saw the name of it again, Cedar Lake. They said the ferry was there, too.

that movie is not nearly as frightening now that I know that what appears to be a car dealership is across the road. 😉 is this house for sale, or just wasting away vacant?
@TheRealNormanBates8 жыл бұрын
Ah, but what you don't realize is that it is a PINTO dealership!
@billybareblu7 жыл бұрын
Now THAT'S frightening.

Well, the car dealership probably wasn't there when the movie was filmed, but just guessing.

I wish you backed the drone up so we could see the house from a distance (ie closer to the main street), as well as what was around the house. Still, appreciate the good view of the tower. Shame to see the house in such a state of disrepair.

What damper gimbal mount system are you using , my Inspire is a V1 with the narrower gimbal plate v1 inspire , is the Z3 much heavier ?
@kevinfrechette8 жыл бұрын
Hi stock mount. It is a bit heavier, I think that contributes to the loss of flight time.

About 3 to 4 minutes less in battery life. Latency is a bit of an issue. I switched to iPad Pro, and it still skips compared to the x3

Nice Video I Like Your Birthday Present. One Thing I Would Suggest Is That You Change The Name Of The Video To Something Like "First Flight With My New RC Plane" Or Something Like That. You Can Change The Names Of The Videos On KZbin With Out Needing To Take Them Of Of KZbin And Renaming Them Then Re uploading them. (This Will Also Get More Views On The Video Because Then When They Search Up Something Like "First Flight With My RC Plane" Your Video Will Pop Up) Other Wise Grate Video I Liked It

Thanks lamtheeggman, I don't know what the vote thing means either. My turbine has been up for years now. Replaced the slip ring the one time, and lost my cheap amp volt meter. Other than that, still turning, still pushing power, still loving it for a home project. I take it down ( in minutes) once a month to check blades, etc, or if a hurricane is predicted. other that that..she flys every day. And man that Newbie crack from henry hurt. I must have lost sleep for 20 seconds or so.It's a fricking back yard project!! get a life!! Some people just need a hobby or something to take up their time.. Thanks for the good remarks..it was actually a fun father son project that has lasted a lot longer than expected.

My first flight with my birthday present. Lost the engine about 40 seconds or so into the flight. Was able th o glide her down ok, but it caught fire when i tried to see why the controls were not working. Very responsive, and glides great. Hopefully they work with me on the engine fire issue.

Got her on the ground after loosing engine about 40 seconds into her first flight. Told myself I had to get it to the ground, and was able to glide it into the field for a decent landing. When I brought it back to the diamond to see why the controls stopped working this is what happened. Had to get the battery out quick.. so ended her maiden voyage. She did fly great for the first 30 sec. or so!!,

I don't believe it will ever hit the rated power. It has to be shut down in any high winds.It would be more fair to say they should rate it 600 watts, not 750 watts. Good video.

Some people have nothing better to do, and everyone is a pro. I have had fantastic results with my system, and the dump load has worked for well over a year just fine. I now have a 12 v electric power in and out that raises and lowers it and charges itself . I love my project and really dont give a F&%k what all the others say

Hi and thanks for the warning. I have had nothing but good luck with mine. They swapped out the slip ring with the updated. No problems since. Check the blades monthly and it's spent a lot of time in high winds. They seem to be holding up fine
