I am so happy with how this recording turned out. When I started learning double bass 8 months ago I set this song as an exam of sorts - my first marker that I learnt double bass enough to play something substantial. I made sure that I can play with clarity and focus and can do what this song requires groove-wise. The song is grand and wonderful, it took a while to learn and execute on the level where I feel satisfied. I just love it! Hope you will find me doing this song justice. Now, to my second challenge, to exam myself in a few months :)

Your technique makes it look effortless. Still need to work on posture, myself. I look like an orangutan when doing covers. What program did you use to mix the song with the drum audio?

I appreciate your kind words! Personally I don't think that posture is that important for drumming, I am sure you look less like an orangutan than Buddy Rich for example (no offence to the GOAT) :) I use Moises.ai to remove drums from the original mix. It also helps me rehearse and record songs because it can add click to the original recording and allows for looping different parts.

Thank you for your kind words! :) For me Baby Lasagna was harder due to the simple fact that I am not experienced and not comfortable with the double bass. And I am not happy about that recording. This one turned out good though, in my opinion. Cheers!
