I have to assume the ending was meant to be longer and some of the useless items relate to cut content. Still an amazing game.

If you drop the rainbow stone in the pond near the blueberry bush, you'll get a silver horse statuette, this was originally meant to be used to make the Pegasus potion but they cut it, this concept comes back in the 3rd game

Thanks for the play through, I got this when I was a kid and I never could beat the birthstone gem puzzle (if only I knew about the sunstone back then). If only the internet was around in the early 90s.

Actually, if you would've saved one of your sandwiches from Sandwich Potion, you could've escaped from cannibals by feeding their Chief with one. Of course if you decide to go back again, you will die 100% without another Sandwich.

I wasn't able to finish the potion quest on my own because it was really confusing, and the map under the floor board is very strange (since you can only get to the crystal potion creator from the bottom zone. But I played this game with my cousin, and we kept at it until we figured it out together. Sometimes two brains are better than one! :)
