Thank you for your videos, I gave up on this trophy 10 years ago. I’m back now and I’m one mission away from getting the platinum MGS1 Variety 3. All your videos really helped in achieving completion on most of these missions 😊

I know this is years later but I gave up on this platinum 10years ago but I’m back. For level 1 it’s a timing thing at the beginning count to 2 and then go and for all the mines that are at places you can fall use directional button to navigate instead of joystick.

Playing this on the master collection now and I have to say these missions are pure fucking bullshit. Some previous missions were a grind already, particularly the one where you have to protect Meryl with the sniper rifle. I completely gave up getting the high score everywhere. But the MGS1 Snake missions are a whole new level of atrocity. You have no radar and the motherfucking guards can spot you from beyond what you can see on your screen. If not for my completionism I'd given up on this some 50 in-game hours ago.That being said, thanks a lot for uploading! You probably saved me weeks of frustration.

I can’t get over how fast the enemy walks in level 1

I just got to these missions, man they are difficult! No radar and the enemies can see you from across the map. I almost never know how I got spotted lol. I’m determined to complete all the missions tho.

100 tries later and the one time I make it to 30 the last enemy is nowhere to be found and so I lose by running out of time ):

Going for the best time in these really teaches you how to quickly and effectively sneak by enemies in even the most difficult situations. Because of this I find the MGS2 engine the most fun to sneak around in, as I will sneak by guards running full speed just inches behind them, sometimes even brushing up against them causing them to turn around to find nobody there. I think of it as being a ghost.

Just got the “Virtually Impossible” trophy on PS3 and Vita thanks to your guides! Got me through the hardest part of achieving the platinum!
