Jimmy knows he's so great he takes the bow at the bottom position because he wants the young ones to be center in the bows. Such a generous man who can put his ego aside. That is amazing

I asked Johnny Lee why he wrote a song like "Boom Boom"? He said, really quiet in my ear... "People like nasty music... (chuckled and gave me a look over his dark glasses. It took me a while to get it. OT Price Blues Club, Capitola CA 1987.

I thought this was magical as a teen. Seeing it as an adult who plays I can’t get past the creaky hurdy-gurdy. He’s doing a good job faking it, but man it needs rosin. It’s not surprising, hurdy gurdies are hard to set up and maintain. Watching now I feel the editor tried to distract from the awkward gurdy-screach ending with the mystical evil eyes and underwater thing. Surprised it made it into the movie. I think they should have done another take of this scene. I’d love to see what he would have done with a properly set up instrument!

Also if ya dig and enjoyed this video on Peter grant 😀 you may also enjoy the song " Most of All " By Glenn Kaiser and Where Roses Grow Live by Rez Band Awesome songs check them out. Also I remember hearing the song by Led Zepp " In My Time of Dyin " during my drug years and made me think about death and Jesus. Then a hippy friend that dug Jesus told me more of Jesus love and forgiveness and how I could also know Jesus love. So in 1981 I cried out to Jesus and wow man He came into my life and I had and have so much joy and peace and now know that through Jesus when I die I will be with Him in Heaven. Hey Jesus loves each of you also and yall can know Him if you are at all open. Just cry out to Him and a good question to ask yourself if you were to die today would you go to heaven ? And if yes why ? To find out more please read the Gospel of John in the Bible or check out the movie on KZbin. 😀
