Was the J flavor gone by this point or was it still airing in the overnights? I know by the end of 1995, it had been relegated to the overnights (I think, correct me if I'm wrong, every 30 minutes 1:58am et-4:58am et), but was still showing on Friday, March 7, 1997. Whether it was still showing that June or not, do you remember when you last saw it? And what is your latest recording of a J flavor LF?

A New station in North Central Alabama (Birmingham-Tuscaloosa-Anniston/Gadsden) called "Alabama's ABC 33/40" combined both stations on opposite end of this state (Tuscaloosa and Anniston/Gadsden) WCFT-TV 33 and WJSU-TV 40 both affiliated with CBS.

Me again. This is exactly how I remember the local forecasts from when TWC was using this piece. It is my all-time-favorite local forecast music. To me the piece isn't complete without that oh-so-familiar announcer's voice.

It took me from the mid-1990s until last year to learn the name of the music track used in this local forecast. Thank you for posting this. It makes my memories that much more vivid.

I was attending UNCW at the time and lived in Wilmington about 10 years. There was nothing like that storm while I was there and folks were stunned. Strange this showed up on my feed.

I remember those days when Jen Carfagno worked the overnight shift. I used to come home on a late Friday or Saturday night and turn on the Weather Channel to wind down. I thought Jen was the prettiest woman I'd ever seen. She's gotten prettier every year since!
