Why did whoever it was redo the show by making it shorter it would have been better with everything in it❤

The Terrans get an 80 year head start on the prime universe because of this. The prime universe has the Federation which includes scores of species who joined voluntarily. The Federation would have been superior regardless of this temporal incursion. Humans+Aliens>humans(alone)

Commenting on an 18 year old video in 2024! What a shame the Mirror Universe episodes didn't get a chance to really play out in any of the pre 2009 reboot shows and movies

This tied two timelines together and could have easily created its own series. Absolutely brilliant and intriguing.

I wonder how much this episode inspired the author of Chariot of the Gods. Aliens mistaken for gods in early Egyptian history and all.

it amazes me how they did the Mirror universe. Everything is different, and yet the people are all still there. As we know with the butterfly effect. One major change will impact all of the future, hundreds of smaller ones included, nothing should be the same outside planets and star systems. But yet we still see every character, still existing in basically the same manner as their counterparts from the non mirror universe. If a character is in the federation, basically a navy, wouldn't they be peaceful farmers in the mirror universe? Or is it not exactly opposite in every way? I like how this gives the opportunity to develop and explore multiple universes like in the Stargate episode. But as they show in Rick and Morty. Once you have infinite universe, one doesn't really matter over the others. Since there would be all possibilities, you are everything in them. From king to peasant, to slave and everything else in between. Including an infinite amount of universe where you were never born, or life never existed...maybe ones with omnipotent beings with ageless lives who get so bored they come to out dimension/reality/universe to watch us live our lives as we would read a book. So much potential, but that would require unique stories. Right now it seems like they are just copying everything or just throwing it out the window with discovery.

Attacks God/computer thing with phaser fire from orbit to drain its power reserves - check. God/computer thing revs up a lightning storm in response. God/computer thing's lightning targeting accuracy has been established earlier in the episode by targeting and hitting humanoids on two separate occasions. Moves ten feet away as a safe distance from the phaser barrage. Watches lightning display while hugging a tree. 🤨 --- Jim, where did you rank in your Academy graduating class?

ENT was so good. It was iraq war era star trek, it had this military thing that i believe was meant to be therapytic escape for active duty service people who had to actually see combat when this show was airing. Sadly it ended in 04 right as the war started in 03, so i guess all military people had to watch was stargate. So sad that the onky thing after enterprise was star trek discovery yikes
