In retrospect this kind of changes the original movie cannon where Palpatine wants Luke's body. My sister brought up that Vader wanted to kill Palpatine inside Luke's body after he got killed by Luke, that's logical cause I heard Vader was conspiring to kill Palpatine permanently.

I know alot of fans hate Palpatine coming back because of some Anakin obsession. But Anakin did destroy the Sith- himself and his master. It never said he would destroy the Sith for all time. Also, Rey prevents Palpatine from returning to his former glory. He almost does, but she technically solidifies Anakin legacy. If palpatine came back, took over the galaxy, and reigned over it with his fleet then yeah…Anakin life was for nothing. But it wasn’t for nothing. He saved his Son Luke, and killed Palpatine allowing the so the Jedi to survive and spread. And then Luke trained Rey who in turn finished off Palpatine from coming back to full power and ending him forever. Rey simply codifies Anakin bringing the balance. He started it, then Luke tried to maintain it, and then Rey solidifies it. Star Wars is suppose to be about everyone coming together to make a difference not just one messiah or hero.

"You are nothing. A scavenger girl who is no match for the power in me. I am ALL the Sith!" This line ALMOST redeemed the entire sequel trilogy. That, and the fact that Palpatine was finally defeated

Everything about Disney Star Wars is about undermining the source material. Bringing back Palpatine? Undermines Anakin's redemption, undermines the fact that HE was to bring balance to the force, which implied killing Palpatine. HE was the chosen one. Not Luke, not Rey, Anakin. And then there's Obi-Wan vs Vader. So why does Obi-Wan defeat Vader again and not be done with it? It undermines everything, Vader's tyranny could've been stopped right then and there, with only Sideous remaining to be defeated.

Im sorry but too much reliance on cgi sfx. Not enough on swordsmanship and martial arts. This doesn't hold a candle in the dark to luke v vader. It just doesn't. This is why Abrams is a relative amateur, not an actual filmmaker.

Personally, I liked Rey. She wasn’t such a bad character and she completely didn’t deserve all the hate she got. I agree that most parts of the sequels suck, but in my opinion Rey was one of the better parts of Episode 7,8 and 9. I said what I said

“Anakin, Good luck.” This is such an underrated soundtrack and it’s so sad because right after that scene, Anakin goes to rescue Palpatine and we know the tragic events that happen from there. They really need to make an ultimate edition of ROTS with the last 4 episodes of TCW integrated into it.
