Nice short video on tools needed. I broke one of my wrenches trying to remove the oil plug but found an alternavive plug on the side of the oil reservoir and opened that one instead. My 2011 is Standard transmission so it does not need the second filter (HCM) next to the pulley. The one in the front is the Oil engine filter. You mixed those two on the video but it is not a bit deal. Thanks for your video.

This is a lot of work removing plates, etc that you don't need to do. Just get yourself a set of socket "universals" on an extension instead. Also, I would double-check foot lbs torque. Pretty sure it's inch pounds.

Thanks for the idea of drilling the plastic to get to that cap screw. Who designed this? They could have easily placed the screws where they were accessible

good day too all , spyder folks who are checking out stuff for spyders { can-am } I think this is a 2012 spyder r-t S E 5 model ... the H-C-M he is referring too is " hydraulic control module ( the S E 5 spyder uses 2 oil filters , as the S M 5 model 2012 uses only 1 oil filter and has a manual clutch system like a regular motorcycle ) ... thanks for posting this oil change operation ed ! { I better say this : the S E 5 has a clutch but it is a paddle shift , uses the left hand too shift up or down , semi auto-matic }

what about the screen I'm told is on one of the lines coming to the tank which one is it? 47k on my 12RT have yet to check/clean it.
