You know the difference between Riven and Musa and Riven and Darcy? Darcy is vain and attention seeking, Musa doesn't like to be given too much attention like in season 8 when Riven wanted to surprise her with fireworks with her picture or were they just lights, I don't remember and it embarrassed her. Darcy always speaks her mind, and even if she has a crush, she is in a hurry to admit it like in season 1, and Musa was ashamed of her feelings. Riven and Darcy are similar: they demand the most from themselves, love themselves, put others down and are arrogant, and Musa and Riven are not alike, which was proven in season 8 when Riven wanted the Winx to perform rock at a concert and Musa pop. Riven tried to please Musa and she was always like "give me time" or "I'm not sure." I'm on Riven's side because no matter what he does for Musa, she's not happy and doesn't want to talk to him. I don't know why she doesn't forgive him: he was with a witch in season 1 and not anymore- big deal! Then Darcy was cute to him, not anymore, and when she got a piece of Bloom's dragon fire/flame, she left him because he was very interesting to her at first, and the rest of the relationship she used him as a spy and servant. What I'm trying to say is that if Darcy hadn't left him, they would have been together longer, with the fact that for a while Riven was enchanted or brainwashed into loving Darcy. I have no idea why she did it- maybe to fall in love with her, maybe to allow him to communicate with her with mind messages since he doesn't use magic- we never knew because nothing was stated besides the scene in episode 9 season 1, and by all means, Darcy did both. To conclude, if there were no quarrels or jealousy between Musa and Riven, they would be a better couple, but for now, in my opinion, Darcy×Riven is a better ship, especially since it was for a short time in the series.
