I find it weird that he didn't go SSJ2 here. He showed earlier that he's still capable of doing it just fine, plus he got a Senzu before getting there so he should be at full power. And he did a huge power up right here, just strange that this awesome power up didn't trigger a SSJ2 transformation.

thats because vegeta was ready to thrown all away.. he knew.. that his sayan heritage was done.. he didnt have one but 4 maybe 5 super sayans... and he died as a king.. leaving trunks.. as his sucessor he died a happy and unregretfull death. just look at him... this was gohan without 10 years of training.. no one can match him..
