Nice conversion, i just remembered i have an unused sentinel kicking around i may try redoing the legs like that. Iv also been trying to figure out how best to convert the pilot. Any chance the pilot or the STL will be for sale?

thanks! If you have the parts laying around it's definitely worth trying it out. The STL is proprietary right now as the army may make an appearance at my local WH store.

Remember a story of the tau fighting gaurdsmen. Then they fought priestly beings in robes, and lobotomized zombies from a horror sci fi the tau would watch it movie theaters. People screaming in pain as religious fanatics ran behind them crying and praising the machine that tortures the souls of the wicked and repenting by fighting the enemy. Tau are terrified of the galaxy now

I saw you kept referencing the Zorn pallette without using the standard black - ochre - vermillion - white. I recently painted some Repentia and an Eightbound using just the four colors; I highly recommend playing with it. The skin tone variations and that red "pop" that Blanche does on many of his memorable works just really shows when you limit yourself to those four colors. It's an amazing exercise I think every painter should try on a group of minis once, it upped my skill level on painting greatly.
@BombshellMiniatures8 ай бұрын
I absolutely agree. These three were more of an experiment with technique that I wanted to try first. But I have a 10-flagellant unit that I want to use the Zorn palette on with just the four colors. I will probably make a video for that one too.

@@BombshellMiniatures Love to see that! I think mini painters would be shocked at how simple art lessons with light, color mixing, textures and etc. really would improve their end product just from attempting. I started with oils on canvas, and applying the stuff from my art training to minis has been quite eye opening.
@BombshellMiniatures8 ай бұрын

DONT bother with the proacryl primer. Im a HUGE fan of their paints, but stick with the stynalrez. Its proven to be 90% stronger than pro's white primer. Im tempted to throw my bottle away. But i figure i could find something to do with it eventually.
@BombshellMiniatures10 ай бұрын
Good to know! I was going to order a bottle of the ProAcryl black primer just to test it out.
@dumbcow16 ай бұрын
I second this. I love every product Monument has put out....except their primers. They just don't have the grip I expect of a primer. Love the satin , almost matte finish it has...just poor adhesion, which is a primers job. I hope they reformulate. Because it's just not up to snuff. Stynlrez is my go to airbrush acrylic primer.

You removed to much of the streaking grime. When you said you were pushing it around instead of removing it, that's what you should be doing. You looked like you were cleaning the model. That's not the objective. You said your results were meh. Try to leave a blend of it back into the shadows of the model.
