I grew up in Philly listening to TSOP, and went into the ARMY in 1976. Earth,wind and fire brought all people together in their music! I am so ever grateful to have grown up in the 70’s with all the beautiful music!❤ !!!!

I lived in Hyattsville & I remember the night that this went down; (was in Elementary) my parents didn’t let us go outside for about a week! Back then some folks seemed like they were ready to put a Noose around any of our necks. Needless to say that our neighbors that didn’t look like us were ready to let the Crosses Burn. ((My white neighbors were cool; ain’t talking about SOME of them)) As much as my parents tried to keep us safe & far away from the racism it followed us no matter where we went. So much different now where I am today. You get folks if you’re reading this; get out in VOTE! I’m talking about from your local offices on up; it all matters.
