I've watched this film when I was graduating from high school...I've seen JOI and got absolutely fascinated with this product. There's no point in even counter discussing your points on ethicality because of your dogmatic stance. Dogs have personality, how is it that you can claim they don't know love? That was a very narrowed statement without much wiggle room to even unpack. It's a loaded statement and you're holding the gun. There's no doubt you present to us you having a form of hyper intelligence, so that's great for you, but it isn't uncommon for this to be "an inability to see the forest for the trees" type situation with you. It's a bit concerning that you can't distinguish what social relationships are, so you feel the need to construct something "perfect" - hot tip nothing ever is, it will do more damage than good, and someone will unfortunately find a way to corrupt it no matter how good your intentions. It's Pandora's box, but I cannot stop you, only prepare myself.

Very good point. Love is a need and necessary for prolonged existence and sustainability of sanity, empathy. Even the pack is made of togetherness. I think what ai being will be different for biological one is that later are biased but ai beings wont necessarily need love for existence

And even more peoples is not a good solution , the right solution is to have a one person but right one . because parents are care because we born because they met , we didn't ask them to give birth so basically we born slaves of first to the parents , then society and relatives and lastly the influencers . some decide to live as a slave, some try to escape and some choose death over slavery aka suicide. Harsh reality isn't it.

It's depressing that no one saw this in theaters and it bombed. This movie is so well done. Its honestly better than the first Blade Runner, not that I have anything against it.

Sad. Mostly because, I feel, we're bound for a world predicted by Philip K Dick and Masamune Shirow. For example, andys (replicants) are basically already outlawed. Even Musk has openly spoke of researching human consciousness and machine interfacing.

Most great quality movies aren't box office hits and that's just the way its been for decades. But at least stories with cult followings like this are what immortalize them for generations to come.
