@@bobcushman6194 Depends. Depends on your Mac's port speed and also what internet package you're paying for. Realistically, for most use cases 1Gbps (which is the speed of the other 3 ports) is gonna be more than you'll need. If you have the 1.2 Gbps package from Xfinity, and a 2.5 Gbps adapter on your Mac, you'll wanna use that port to make use of the full 1.2 Gbps available to you. Make sense? Probably did a bad job explaining lol.

@@bobcushman6194essentially yes but unless your downloading/uploading files you won’t notice much of a difference. I’d use this port if specifically if you’re adding a switch or an additional router. I use the port for gaming to my Xbox to prevent any lagging, but I’ve tried the other ports and never experienced any issues just slightly slower download speeds
