First time there on m Kenevo and I got 15 runs done, I only have a small 500w'h battery and I still got too knackered before the battery ran out! LOL. The second half of that push up is hateful and the camera never shows how freakin steep it is. Tidders was one of the reasons I ended up getting an emtb lol. Only place with a worse push up is Windhill due to the length of it. Again, great on an emtb.
@SEKTAMTB23 күн бұрын
Yeah for sure. I don't mind Windhill so much as you can just grind up the fireroad pretty easy. Although I was there at the weekend on the eeb for the first time and it's laughable how easy it is 🤣

@ I wasn’t really looking at the resale value when buying, I saw it more that I could have the components that I want, a lot from my previous bike and have a super light e-bike for fraction of the cost of a big brand. Visited Swinley today for the first time with my lad. Had always heard mixed reviews about it, but you know what we were pleasantly surprised! Nice one for the video, which gave us a great heads up of what to expect. Yes there’s quite a bit of pedalling in parts, but that’s a bonus for fitness, and definitely think there’s enough rewards for the effort! Red 9 (was 15) is one of the first highlights for me, so good took the fire road climb back up to it 3 times. And all those runs off near Red 10 are superb, Bikini, Deerstalker, Babymaker etc, tech, big table line & superb berms, could have ridden that part all day, so yes a big shout out to the trail builders there! Yes it’s not the Surrey Hills, or Wales, but it’s only an hour drive for us, Chicksands/Woburn are our locals, but will definitely be back to Swinley at some point. Thanks again for the video!

Nice one glad you enjoyed it. It deffo gets more bad rep than it deserves. People forget its a country park that happens to have some cycling trails in it. As far as Country Park Trails go it's pretty awesome. Seb and the trail crew have worked wonders over recent years especially around Red 10 area. It's like a mini bike park vibe with a relatively easy push-up and a perfect place to work on carrying speed through berms and of course the Bikini jump line. I'll be going back there again pretty soon to work on my jumps for sure. 👍 (Also worth checking out The Summit jumps and skills area near the start of the Blue trail. Members only area but they often do trial offers from £10)
