Iv been using the htvront for dark and light cotton tees for 4weeks with asub paper, and im only having issues with 1 image that doesnt hold up well after washing. All the other 10 tees iv printed and washed are holding up great.
@majkustoms70093 күн бұрын
Sorry so late with responding. I have had that happened to me before as well and I just came to the conclusion that if you are doing everything right, which it sounds like you are. It may just be the design I would try to find a design similar to the one that is not staying. When you go to press your design press it on a old cotton shirt first and wash it to see how it holds up that way you are not ruining t shirts as you go. I keep a lot of our ruined t shirts for test prints before actually pressing the image on the good garment. I hope this helps🥰
@daveblue430321 сағат бұрын
@majkustoms7009 no worries its OK. It must be the image as iv printed the same image 3 times and getting the same results. It is abit mind baffling why its doing it but on the plus side iv printed alot of tees that have held up well in the wash with sublimation htv.

Did you have any issues with the htvront bleeding after a wash? I used it and washed it inside out on cold and hung dried it and noticed the ink bled any tips?
@majkustoms700926 күн бұрын
Hi there sorry you are having issues with the HTVRont vinyl/paper. We have had no issues using it. Try sitting it aside for maybe 30 min to an hour before washing. Make sure the paper is compatible with your printer. you have to use an inkjet printer not just a regular office printer it has to say inkjet. I hope this helps.🥰

@@majkustoms7009 I used an Epson Ecotank 3850 with the HTVRont transfer paper and I waited over a week to wash it. I'll try it again and see if I get the same results maybe I'll try it without the bleed on and see what that gets me. I am fairly new to this

1 foam board works for all the pieces needed?
@majkustoms70092 ай бұрын
Depends on how big your foam board is. I get the ones from hobby lobby I think they are 20 by 30 inches they cost 1.99 a board. I can get one vending machine out of one foam board but you wanna make sure you have enough foam board in case of any mistakes and you want to make sure you have enough for the top, bottom and the shelves as well. Thank you for your tutorials! Can you do this in cricut design space as well? Also, where do you get the templates from?
@majkustoms70093 ай бұрын
The template is nothing but you using the rectangle or square shape into an 11 inches tall and 8 1/2 inches wide shape. You can do this in cricut as well. Your front image will be a 8 1/2 wide by 11 inch tall and your sides will be 11 inches tall and 4 inches wide. I did not use a template I went off my page size which is 8 1/2 inches wide and 11 inches tall. Your Front and back will be the same height and width and your sides should be same in height and 4 inches wide. All four sides are going to be 11 inches tall. Remember when you print your image your paper size is going to be 8 1/2 inches wide and 11 inches tall. I hope this helps.🥰

You said you got a bigger inkjet printer. Can you share the printer you invested in please?
@majkustoms70093 ай бұрын
Yes, we purchased the ecotank 3850. I actually show the printer in the video where I walk everyone through all the steps on making a Mother's Day Vending machine if you need to see what it looks like. This printer is not a wide format we wanted more ink because our small printer took ink cartridges and we could only get maybe two to three vending machine prints before we would have to replace the cartridges. Definitely invest in an inkjet ecotank if you plan on making these to sell. I hope this helps🥰

I made quite a few of them, I use the same koala paper and love it. What I did notice is that some people are using a squeegee to avoid bubbles, this can cause the ink to smear. For the larger ones I used photo paper and liquid rubber glue.
