But bro if u tryna reach 45 shouldn't that just take like 5 months for you.. I mean cuz if u just manage to increase 1 inch every month u good hey😂😅?? Been a very curious Question really
@JiggyHills4 күн бұрын
I know it sounds nice but it doesn’t work like that lol. There’s something called the law of diminishing returns - it’s an economic term but it applies to anything you do. As you get better at it, that same amount of effort gives you smaller returns. Basically I can’t average 1 inch increase every month, it’s too much 💀

@@JiggyHills well yea plyometrics does get easy but as long as you lifting heavy.. and also u gained weight so vert decrease but you know calisthenics can help with that.. sunce calisthenics is the mastery of ones own body weight, it don't matter whether u big or fat, as long as you can master your own body weight.. so u can master ur 100 pushups and single leg squats and your body gon' feel a whole lot lighter😁❤

Yo Jiggy, do you have any recommendations on how to develop endurance on the court without hurting explosiveness? Given that endurance training causes type shift to type 1 (slow twitch) muscles and what we want are type 2 (especially type 2x) muscles. I'm getting gassed out but im afraid to do endurance running lest it robs my bounce. I'm currently 34" @ 38 years old. 5'9". It's now or never for me to achieve my dunking dream. Clock is ticking against me.

@stevelau769422 күн бұрын
Just had average genetics at 6ft with 6'3 wingspan and around 8ft standing reach with naturally low body fat and when I trained for 3 years, got up to around touching 11ft which was about middle of forearm to rim level, enough to dribble dunk, definitely not enough to get fancy. Definitely was able to improve because my start point with no vertical training was being able to 1 hand grab rim but managed to dunk in a few months of training, probably biggest factor from just playing pickup 5 on 5 since legs got so sore afterwards and provided a reason to need to jump higher Probably could have broken a 40 inch vertical if I had more opportunity to train when I was in my prime. I believe Bronny is likely very gifted for being able to get up to elite dunking
@durag2x20 күн бұрын

Calling Bronny's genetics mid when he has a 40 inch vertical is retarded. That's elite territory. Russ was a monster dunker with a 36" vert.

I’m a 1 foot dunker off 2 ft I can only do windmills and between the legs. If I practiced more Ik I can do way more off 2 but 1 foot is just so natural to me and takes less energy/effort so I really forget about 2 ft bounce altogether. If I’m in a game situation and I need it though it’s there so I feel it’s good to have both.
