It was good to hear this update from you (and I understand your time management situation). Certain parts with images on the screen surprisingly made me laugh (especially the one when the word “time” was said). It’s good to hear that you have an expected time for when your third and final season of Savage Battles will most likely begin (and before each (or certain ones) get released, you can send pre-production snippets to me for review before they get publicly released). The Shorts idea can definitely keep your viewers busy in the meantime, which I believe to be something good on your end. In short, I hope you don’t rush your content out just to have it and you look for the right times to work on things.

I’m here after over two years since the uploading of this battle. The idea and concept is a unique one, and I appreciate that there is at least some singing in the battle. I do genuinely think Sayaka could have a singing part, too (in that case, if I were involved in the making of this, I’d have Lily, her VA, go through vocal training to the point she can sing well while keeping the character voice). But as you might guess, I have constructive criticism on this battle like all of yours, so I hope you understand where this falls flat in: -Don’t assume the pronunciation of something before beginning the recording phase. It appears neither you nor the VA’s knew how Blitzø should be correctly pronounced (the “o” is silent, as explained in Eddiefrb’s Blitzø vs. Pico). Edit: Maria-tina has since informed me that she knows the correct pronunciation, but stuck to the intent due to Verosika intentionally pronouncing Blitzø as “Blitz-o” to annoy him in Helluva Boss. -Don’t have your VA’s settle for one take and instead make them do as many possible until an absolute best is reached. Maria-tina, Verosika Mayday’s voice actress here, was going on the beat through the grand majority of her rapping time. Meanwhile Lily, Sayaka Maizono’s voice actress, was offbeat throughout most of her microphone time. This resulted in the overrunning of lines and inconsistently bad flow, which can be prevented by having her do several takes and/or rewriting some of her lines, eliminating any unnecessary words. Furthermore, I feel like Lily could’ve gone through as much vocal and rap training as needed to properly perform her parts and sound effortless in the final recording. Speaking of… -The writing felt like it wasn’t revised or was done with words said just to have them said. You should find a fitting instrumental first and then write with it in mind, not do it the other way around. And even after that, I recommend performing the parts yourself to see what could be improved upon before showing the lyrics to your VAs. -There are references/lines that were either forced into the writing or completely not needed. The “Wrecking Ball” reference felt forced, the second Blitzø rebuttal from Verosika was unnecessary and felt like complete filler, and there could’ve been a better diss in place of the one on the DR anime being rushed (in which it should not be prevalent in every DR battle in existence; Freshy Kanal’s DR battles are all devoid of this in place of proper disses specific to the DR opponent). Revise lines necessary for revision to see what can be scrapped and what can stay. -I’ve already brought up improper capitalization and won’t for this one, and will instead say: the fifth line should be formatted as two separate subtitles, with the “we’re not the same” clause in parentheses to establish it being an ad-lib. -jort’s mixing was rather good, but the pronunciation of “Blitzø” on Verosika’s end is unclear. I don’t know if either VA had any, but I recommend having them get pop filters each for their recording equipment so that they have maximum clarity in their recordings. Edit: I’ve since been informed that Maria-tina has a pop filter, but that her recording(s) for this battle were the first ever times she used her current microphone, which explains why the pronunciation came off as “unclear”, at least to me. With this being your ninth rap battle, its mistakes were bound to be present, but even then, I think pointing them out can be beneficial. For your final season, I suppose you may reach out to me for regular status updates and send me recordings for me to criticize (both positively and negatively) them to make Season Three the ultimate best season for you, where you unleash your full potential before your series’s closure. Edit: I forgot to list my winner! For this battle, it’s Sayaka Maizono. Her lines were less flawed, and she had better overall disses. Her flow wasn’t good for the most part and Verosika Mayday excelled better in that category, but it wasn’t entirely terrible. Meanwhile, Verosika’s second verse was a letdown with the repeated Blitzø rebuttal and unnecessary rushed anime diss, and in the first verse, the “forced” Wrecking Ball reference didn’t do it for me (this and the repeated attempted rebuttal remind me of ERB’s Miley Cyrus vs. Joan of Arc by the way). NOW here’s where I’m saying farewell. Bye now!

I’m six days late, but I’m glad this battle’s video is finally out. The visual quality might be the best in a rap battle of yours I have seen, and I’m super glad you chose to delay this project and take your time in getting its video out. With this concluding your rap battle series’s second season, like I’ve said, there are things that I look forward to in the next season to show that you’re going to be a mainstay in the FRB community for the time being. As time passes, you grow as a creator by learning from your earlier works what you can improve upon. In the period between this battle’s release and the premiere of Season Three, I recommend writing some practice raps to improve that side of you, assuming you want to. So that you won’t forget, here are some of the things I’m looking forward to in the quality of Savage Battles Season 3-onwards (and I know I’ve said stuff like this already, but this is a double reminder to make sure you follow these guidelines to make the best possible works you can): -Enunciation, flow, and clarity that doesn’t result in the voice actors fumbling over their lines and instead go on the beat in the final product. -Words said in the audio syncing with the video’s subtitles throughout the entire battle’s visual representation. -Writing while considering the battle’s instrumental. -As much effective communication needed between you and the voice actors of a battle, assuming you’re not one of them. That way, they don’t misunderstand any of the lines and recording with the emphasis at the right parts. -Voice actors refraining from only doing one take of a part they perform (oftentimes, lines cannot be performed in one take without sounding bad). -Little to no grammatical errors (you did a good job with that here, hope it stays consistent, though I don’t expect the errors to completely vanish, like with my comment on the early audio. Also, Ham-lin should be formatted as Ham-eln in the subtitles). -Information about/references to a side that aren’t included just for the sake of it. -Less filler lines. -Less cramming of words if a VA cannot clearly vocalize them at once. and finally, once again: -More fun and enjoyable content in your discography (I heard your idea of releasing an album collection with early audios; I appreciate it). All in all, I hope you take this as a final moment of growth before your Season 3 phase (which may also be your breakout and proper establishment showing your potential). In regards to this battle, I notice its flaws but won’t point them out here, as I’ve already done that before. One thing I do want to know is how exactly did Anxious Penguin vocally contribute to this battle? My best guess if that they did the second half of Samara’s second verse, but I’m not fully sure. For my winner, it has been the same since fully listening to the early audio for the first time: Samara Morgan. She had the better verse both rounds (Amanda’s first didn’t have enough disses in it, and while Samara directly repeated one of her round one disses in round two, Amanda’s performance in round two wasn’t enough to top it) and was dissing more overall. With all that being said, I fully look forward to the third season and your unleashing of your potential from that season onwards. The negative social aspects of 2024 are so much crap so far. Beloced KZbinrs and other creators retiring or going on hiatus and the platform getting more saturated with ads and dropshipping. The Verbalase incident is absolutely hilarious but the worst part of 2024 so far is nowhere close, and its the fact that as a soon as the clock struck 12, world tension rocketed in to the sky. And now every other day you expect a new war to pop up or actual literal world war three randomly starting any day at this point.

All sad news, however good news for one of my favorite KZbinrs (Oversimplified) finally uploaded two video after one and a half year.

2/3 of these news are sad. I felt overwhelmed with negative emotions when I watched the video that Matt made about quitting. 2024 may be bad, but maybe its a buildup for 2025, which could possibly be better than 2023.
