Best advice I can give from what I've seen is maybe keep a heat gun in the same spot for about 5 minutes to soften it up. Tricky spot the dent is in.

When I upgraded mine to a alternator, I used a 1965 and up water pump. It had the proper holes for the alternator bracket.

We purchased all the front end parts as a kit. The Girls opened one to install and found it was not correct see. I emailed andersen as they had no phone listed and they would not help us. So we are stuck with the JUNK parts. DIG?????????

Make sure you check between the spark plug hole and the valve seats, common area to crack. I went through 3 sets to find a good pair of heads. Good Luck! subscriber #20
