While the eye stare thing is true, the other two are just generalizations. Some cats DO like getting their belly rubbed. Mine doesn’t, but I’ve seen quite a few people who say that their cat likes it. Cats are like people in that regard, they have their own unique personality and preferences, which brings me to my next point. While my boy does not like getting his stomach rubbed, he LOVES getting attention. In fact, my cat’s WAY more extroverted than I am. If someone’s at the door, he’ll usually greet them at the door. If we leave him all by himself, he’ll start crying out these sad meows, and he hardly ever meows.

When I was 28, a litter of 4 was born in my kitchen cupboards. I found homes for 3 of them, the other I was holding onto for a friend who wanted him. I even took him with me when I had to move out of state for work. the first year after he was born was a really bad year for me and things were pretty dark, It was just me and him in a lil apartment, and I'll never forget the first night he went from sleeping on the foot of the bed to sleeping against my chest and my arm, without being able to talk he said "I got you" and instantly he went from a companion to my best friend, and over more time, he's become my son...that was 12 years ago and I could not imagine my life without him. I believe in the chance that I might not even be writing this if it wasn't for him. p.s. friend who I was holding him for checked in like a year later and was told to take a hike. I work a lot and I did not enjoy the idea of my boy being at home alone all day so when he was about 4 years old I adopted another kitten from a rescue shelter. I'm admiting as an honest human being that I got her with the intention of being his companion...but over time I've fallen in Love with her too. I wound up with The Son and Daughter I always wanted =) <3

Tummy rubs My cat loves tummy rubs from me Not everytime you give your cat a belly rub means they hate it. Even if its a vulnerable area cats actually show theyre belly to people/ other cats they trust. Lol actually everything i rub my cats belly she falls asleep from it. Please do more research on the first topic
