@@jazzywerdna Jehovah Witnesses very own literature found in the September 1st 1988 page 13, paragraph 2 of the Watchtower magazine doctrine judges satan the devil was Jesus Christ very own brother, making him equal to satan. Christ who conquers all is equal to Father. John 5:23 reads ἵνα πάντες τιμῶσι τὸν υἱὸν καθὼς τιμῶσι τὸν πατέρα. ὁ μὴ τιμῶν τὸν υἱὸν οὐ τιμᾷ τὸν πατέρα τὸν πέμψαντα αὐτόν. so that everyone honors the son as he honors the father. he who does not honor the son does not honor the father who sent him. The word καθὼς means “as, even as.” The same as the Father is honor is the Son is honor. Not one receives less honor than the other.

What sins can be forgiven if not God alone? The word μόνος mean alone only single. Christ forgave sins ALONE which is GOD ALONE. This make him equal to Father.

2 Corinthians “τοὺς γὰρ πάντας ἡμᾶς φανερωθῆναι δεῖ ἔμπροσθεν τοῦ βήματος τοῦ Χριστοῦ, ἵνα κομίσηται ἕκαστος τὰ διὰ τοῦ σώματος πρὸς ἃ ἔπραξεν, εἴτε ἀγαθὸν εἴτε κακὸν. for all of us will be revealed before the steps of Christ, so that each one will bear the things of the body according to what he has done, whether good or bad.” One comes before the steps of Chirst to be κομίσηται or taken care of. Only Christ alone does the judging.

Linguistically and grammatically, the Greek word καθὼς in John 5:23 does not demand an exact equality in the degree of honor given to the Father and the Son. It conveys a similarity in the manner or type of honor but does not require an absolute, identical level of honor in every aspect. Your interpretation, which insists on “the same honor in every respect,” is not supported by the grammar of the Greek text. This is a misreading of καθὼς, and highly likely influenced by theological bias rather than solid linguistic analysis.
