ah it was the coolant. i was wondering what's the blue fluid for after i saw the title. well, i don't know much about cars but this didn't seem too hard to replace. maybe the position is uncomfortable, being down there between all those hoses...

Gm engineers really hated coupe owners! My sedan has both “quick release post” and I can remove and install the battery thru the small latch without removing all that other stuff you did.

My man , I swear to god I cannot find anybody with the same vehicle as us. There is barely any support and how to's out there. I followed your guide to install my new ignition coils and spark plugs! I had 3 cylinder misfires occur in a single session drive all at once. It was miserable. Luckily I found your video. As I'm writing this , I'm not experiencing some sort of coolant leak , and it's dripping down to the road , under my engine! Lets go BMW!

Hi. I love your channel. Recently picked up a 2010 CTS Performance with Nav and Bose 5.1 love it! I see how this looks, but does it sound as good or better than the stock unit did? Would you have control over a separate subwoofer if added?

Hey. I would say it doesn’t sound better from a volume standpoint. In my situation, I upgraded the speakers , added a subwoofer box and amps, so it sounds amazing. Far better than stock. And yes, it does allow you to control subwoofers separately. It has lots of controls to fine tune your setup.

@ did it help improve ur gas miles? i get 280 to a full tank. (if that) i have a 2013 cadillac cts. i use to get 400 to a full tank when i first got it back in 2016. but noticed after taking it to transmission of america my gas miles dropped tremendously

I don’t think mileage improvements were significant, if there were any. It mainly helped to smooth out the idling.

Random question .... why didn't you get adjustable arms so you don't have to deal with 10,000 mile tires? I'm doing mine now because of said "issue". Glad to know I can get away with a wiggle of that bolt. :) Thank you!

Personally I’ve found simply having a regular periodic wheel alignment resolved that issue. I purchased the lifetime wheel alignment package from Firestone for $200, so now I just go every year to be aligned for free.

@@marenothecarguy8361 I have the same, but after 11 months, I have steel showing on the inside of my tires. :( Pilot Sport's too. My "in spec" alignment could only get the camber down to -2.2. If you look on N2Itave's website, -0.75 is ideal. I think part of my issue is my right foot, and the other issue is I travel a lot of backroads that are chip & seal roads that tend to wear tires out faster. I'm really not sure.

@@marenothecarguy8361 Yeah it sure does. I did measure the tire when it was off here a minute ago, and the outside of my tire is down to 2/32 so the alignment wasn't off a ton, but enough to have steel bands showing on the inside. I know the lower you go, the more the camber becomes an issue, and I tend to ride it low so I don't have the shudder from the halfshafts when I step on the skinny pedal. :)

I bought all the parts that you listed and Im doing the same project as you are, Im running into an issue with the front underbody splash shield that attached to the front bumper I'm not sure where to cut that piece to make it fit. Yes, technically you can buy the universal kit and successfully install it onto your CTS. I don’t think you will be happy with the end results though.

IT not easy on the 2009 have to remove intake and crossbar if that gasket not on right you going to get problems

Please post up some pics because they all have the same engine and the engine bay with the crossbar are all identical. So I’m very curious to see your set up.

@marenothecarguy8361 the intake covers the #2 cylinder and on passenger side it's a bit difficult to get the coils out without loosing the bolts for intake without taking off crossbar then that's where you have the problem of the intake gasket had a problem fixing mine wasn't set right

Thanks 😊 Great job The easily advice to remove the big black part, bothside of the frunk, it’s just to pull out the all plastic cover, the Little rubber clips could stay fixed, the plastic part easily fited in&out, thanks to tesla design 😊
