I hope you find some ideas! And I’m hoping viewers will share some too. I am definitely finding that creating small collections helps, and I am also exploring outfit planning in the same way people “meal plan.” But definitely exploring each individual piece and how it behaves with other pieces is helping me figure out what it actually is I’m trying to figure out. I think we sometimes feel we already know the destination of our wardrobes, but I’m now finding that it’s revealing itself to me; not the other way around. 💜

☕I wear Tshirts most days because they look good and are comfortable. I only buy 100% good quality cotton, some are organic. (I do not buy knit cotton as I don’t like that look on me.) I have them in white, grey, tan, in short (one from Zara has a wee puff sleeve with an inverted dart❤) and long sleeve. I recently purchased one in a long sleeve turtle neck, which I don’t wear the neck of in the traditional way of folded down, but rather up and loose. I love turtlenecks worn the way you describe. 😊 So effortless and easy. I think to much tucking and folding can make things look too “done” whereas simple things done well, and worn relaxed, just ooze elegance 😊💜

Great video. I too liked your commentary on why you were decluttering those items. We've all had clothing which doesn't sit quite right and I agree that bubbling on tops is maddening. Before I buy something I look at the label to see what the fabric is. Here in the UK a lot of jumpers are made of acrylic and that bubbles like mad. Your alternative way of looking at your locket clear out was a good lesson.

Thank you 😊 And I agree about acrylic and other man made fabrics too, it drives me nuts. I’ve had a lot of these for a long time - since before I started getting into tailoring and dressmaking and actually understanding fabric. It’s such an education, as you know! And I already have a video in mind for this, because I’ve ended up with some pretty unwavering rules as a result. 😅
