This is one of the few times I’m happy I’m on the EN serve. So I don’t have to re-adjust to the new look of it all.

I really don’t like this update honestly, it looks like a prototype or beta and not an update. Nothing was really added if anything Soo much was taken away making the game just feel so lifeless and without personality. People say they like it because “it looks soo sleek and modern!” But I really have to disagree because like Soo many animations have became choppy which is like the exact opposite of sleek and the old Ui already looked modern enough so why just suck the color out. I only play en so luckily I don’t have this update yet but I’m not looking forward to it

Honestly the new update isn't that bad, its really the rhythm game itself that's weird in a not so good way. Idk if it's just me but it's like my "skills" have gone down the drain and the notes dont register as well???? It might be just me though 😭😭😭

Honestly I don’t mind this update, I believe it’s just fine. but I know alot don’t and that’s alright I remember seeing someone describing there thoughts about it and I think it matches quite well “it hit hard in the softest way possible”

trust me when the ui got leaked i was SOO MAD but now that ive used it for a few days its definitely not as bad and its honestly way easier to use 6:33 i dont know if youve found out this by now but its actually just a chart ofthe song where you need 4 fingers to clear so um. Not a practice of the master 💔

i feel like the new ui just feels too sleek for what prsk is kinda going for ig :( i feel like i can look past some things like the new outfits and the shaders for 3dmvs being abit too like- idk kinda dark but the new ui is just not it- my sister said the new ui looks kinda like sonolus and i kinda agree with her lol its just too round and 'futuristic' in like a bad way lmao

The only thing that deeply bothers me in this new update is that the notes don't feel as responsive as they were before- 😶 like it doesn't FEEL like I'm tapping them, you know? 😭 Moreover, after the update I had to lower their opacity to 80%, cuz the effects on pink flick notes were hurting my eyes 💀 Overall, the update might feel kinda "soulless", cuz the changes were too drastic - from old bulky UI to this new one, which is TOO crisp and modern. I think that's why most people don't like it that much.

I think the new UI looks and functions way better than the old one. Old one just feels like it takes way too much space for visuals that just aren’t particularly nice looking. New one looks more clean and sleek and gives more information than the old one does, without being too much. I don’t like being bombarded with a lot of plain colors and shapes It also fits with the game’s concept way better (like the phone and paper/folder iconography). It look way more stylized with its visuals but also more simplistic, whereas the older one was less stylized and more “complicated” looking. It’s honestly a bit funny cuz while watching the video i was just confused as to what the actual issue was.

I had a full on panic attack when I saw the 2938MB prompt appear on my JP sekai which I got through Qooapp because I genuinely thought something bugged and all my progress was gone, and don't really like the new update either, my opinion on the worst part about it is the new UI for when you play songs

well it has its ups and downs. personally i like the new update, but also dont like it cuz the ui. takes some time to get used to

i really don’t think it’s that bad, it’s new, people aren’t going to like it at first. You’ll get used to it in a month or more don’t worry. But I love that they changed the original design, the old ones bothered me.

I don't hate the looks on the new update at all, but none of that is my concern at all. I'm trying my hardest to make up for all the missed time I spent before starting Project Sekai, and seeing all this complaining about the design changes is making me regret that mistake even more. The developers for Bang Dream did the same exact thing with that game when it hit its 6th anniversary, and this doesn't surprise the slightest, because this game is in some cases developed by the same company, and I didn't hate it on there either. And in my opinion, if the developers forced on making the design even better and not "simple," it might've resulted in longer maintenance or a delay in the next story and gachas or something like that. Even if the game looks simpler than it used to, I won't stop playing the game just because of that. Not to mention this won't happen on the English version until next year. Sure, I get that most people are used to the way it was before on here, but Project Sekai hasn't been around as long as Bang Dream has.

I know the dev team tried to give us a new special prosekai look, but guess most of us are just used to the old one instead of this simple one

The only good thing of the UI i like is the Miku loading icon, the new lite bg, the new notes, hitsounds and the song and difficulty selection, everything else feels like Colorful Palette got obsessed over minimalism too :(

16:53 you won't get many notes from pst, prs and ftr 7-9 (some) tracks, and you might want to unlock the byd versions of some of those songs such as vexaria or kanagawa cyber culvert. Though inkar usi doesn't have a byd chart if I'm not wrong.

oh my goodness this was a lot of fun to watch ! i've always liked seeing prsk players play arcaea & vice versa (forever hoping for an arcaea and prsk collab 😔) so your first reactions were very enjoyable to see 🥳 i hope you'll enjoy the game enough to buy the story packs since the songs in there are 🤯🤯 crazy !!!! not to mention the story is 🤯🤯 crazy !!!!! also i'm not sure if you want a tip (apologies if this just sounds mansplain-y) but a trick i used when i first started out (cuz i was so confused from the 3d gameplay) was that sky notes are basically like regular notes, except higher on your screen; after i realized that it became much easier for me to process the 3d stuffs and to hit the sky notes 😭 well it's already been 4 months since you posted this video so i hope you're still enjoying the game ^_^ welcome to the world of arcaea ha ha
