I have never seen anyone Robben couldn't hang with - at least where playing blues is concerned. Robben is one of those guys who always seems to have an extra gear into which he can shift. My primary guitar hero!

Robben is the greatest blues guitarist in history -- period. Also one of the greatest in jazz/blues, blues/rock, jazz/rock etc.... a master of tone, touch, dynamics, phrasing and most importantly always in the heart of the pocket .... AND so musical and soulful... the range of his work over the last 40 + years whether as leader or a sideman is huge. Truly, a guitarist's guitarist.... Brilliant

No wait, I caught a glimpse of the drummer. Still not positive who it is - maybe Toss Panos, who's worked with Landau and Ford, but it's definitely not not Novak. He's bald.

Oh, hell yes! Scofield is my favorite, and Robben's not too far behind. I was really stoked when I learned recently that they had been collaborating. They NEED to do a record, and soon! This clip is great, but if anyone has more complete video, please post! I can't tell who the drummer here is, but he sounds great. Gary Novak, maybe?

I was there on the 12-13-10 the next night. Awesome show. fantastic seats. I do have a video of the last song, I thought hey what would they do on the last song throw me out.

I was There, I think was taken in almost the same seat I was sitting in on a different night. They smoked - I wish they put out a cd of that show. Hey I think I might be the guy in front of the video, not the one eating. I had great seats with no one in front of me. I was mesmerized.
