The vocals are from splice, they're samples. And it's not identical, if u listen close, the bass is different

@@PETERGREENDAY100 Funny story, I didn't even know about Fever 5x until AFTER I made the song, sent it to a friend and he told me "dude, it sounds like this other tune" and apparently it's way more probable than I thought to make something similar to another song that already exists

@@KavasPVP that’s Why I don’t use splice, samples are way too common and over used. Producers tend to use the same keywords in the search bar, so… I can imagine your disappointment when you discovered that there is another pretty similar tune. Those lyrics are perfect for dancefloor dnb…

You should add ghost notes with a snare sample in there, or layer a drum break on top of your drums. It adds to the groove and gives the song a more full sound. Also you should work on your mixing. Your kick sounds weak, and your snare sounds okay. I recommend routing the snare, kick, and main hi hats into a channel and then adding some compression.

A ghost snare is the missing ingredient?? Is that what the "shuffle" in a dancefloor drum groove is? Like if you have kick .... snare .... kick snare, right after the first snare there's like a small shuffle.

@@KavasPVP Yes, thats not the only thing thats missing though. Your mixing could use work. Make sure your kick is a bit more punchy ad cuts through the mix better.
