If youre not making any money yet then you should have an LLC if you could afford it because if you screw up in an unregistered manner, youll lose everything you have under your name, no? LLC is purely worth the anonymity in itself.

I have a question… 🙋🏽‍♂️ I just started my LLC a year ago. It’s time for me to file taxes so I know I have to do that with the IRS and someone told me file a statement of information stating that I made and had no income from the LLC that year. Not sure who to send that to. I guess I’m just a little lost on besides filing taxes and reporting to the secretary of state and pay my fees. What else do I need to do with my LLC and who else do I need to report to to keep it in good standing. I have no income, but I’m working on changing that. Thanks

The state where you register DOES matter. Advising to just register in the state where you live is poor. Every state has different jurisdictions.
