It is good to present all of the positive aspects of Wilson. His upside is tremendous, I think he could become a really good player for our Steelers. My only concern is his injury history. He missed 2.5 years of college football due to injuries. He is also playing without an ACL. So let’s hope for the best. Also, why do you feel a need to trash a former Steeler? He didn’t pan out like we had hoped, but there is no need to call him a Smurf, and make fun of him. If your a true Steeler fan, you support past and current Steelers.

I can’t believe we got him in the draft. I would have thought he would go a lot higher. Great for us I think he’s got the right combo of speed and athleticism. What are the chances they start him? I guess it’s too early to tell…..go Steelers

Great pick, and a future star! I have been calling for him to be a day 1 starter, but from the reports I have seen Elandon is not ready to relinquish his starting spot just yet. Either way Wilson gives them a great trio at ILB, and will get plenty of burn this year.

I absolutely despised seeing Kevin Colbert move up to take Devin Bush and it had everything to do with his diminutive size. Bush’s biggest downfall was between his ears. Given his small size he would consistently get bulldozed, run over and tossed aside by offensive guards and tackles like a rag doll, especially when it came to stopping the run. Bush was a speed bump. Kevin drafted Bush because he thought Bush’s size and speed was required in the pass happy NFL. Kevin hoped that Bush could be his next Ryan Shazier. Bush was Jarvis Jones 2.0.

At 4.4 speed and his ability to HIT, I thought Bush should be moved to Strong Safety. It's really the only position where he "MAYBE" could fit in. But, he certainly never was and never will be in Inside LB in the NFL.
@brianharris9949
@brianharris9949 Ай бұрын
I don’t know what happened after the injury but he lost even the ability to hit. No effort or desire to engage, and you can’t play any position in the NFL other than punter or kicker with those traits.

Why do you feel a need to trash former Steelers? He made some big plays for us in his first season. True Steeler fans don’t go about trashing current or former Steelers.

@@brianharris9949 Kevin’s draft opinions and assessments lost their luster in his final years as GM. I give Kevin props for recognizing and admitting that it was time for a younger GM with new and fresher ideas to replace him.

Terry Bradshaw was wrong. Players will run through a brick wall for Mike tomlin so therefore he’s a good coach. All a coach is, is someone who can motivate players. Yeah he hasn’t hired the right staff yes but pure coaching mike is good.

Update It is now 17 seasons as a head coach It is now 13 seasons with no playoff wins Once again, any other team would have fired him years ago. But not the one that created the Rooney Rule.

What Terry doesn't talk about is?He was the reason why the steelers had a down decade because we could have taken Marino but terry didn't tell anybody that same year and went gotta operation on his elbow and was never the same So if he wants the point fingers he needs the point at himself🫵😧

Tomlin is not a good head coach??? Stfu well it’s fair to say that terry wasn’t a good qb He had a great defense and great receivers like stop that. Let’s not go into the truth about terry. Because it wasn’t terry at all. That man got four superbowls by a lucky catch and a great defense

I agree with Terry Bradshaw in that other gentleman Tomlin is just an average coach a great coach he'll never be in a winning record a bunch of BS shit we want playoff wins and Super Bowls you can take those winning seasons what good are they if you don't advance I've always said this the only reason Tomlin went to the Super Bowl is because that was Bill cowher's team not Mike Tomlin when the players who was under Bill Cowher they left the team the Pittsburgh Steelers been garbage ever since and that's a damn shame cuz I've been to Steeler fan since 1970 bottom line is Mr Rooney you get rid of Mike Tomlin he ain't no good for that franchise never has been never will be he stands on the sidelines like he is all that I got this for you Mr Tomlin you ain't all that so you sit over there with your arms crossed wearing your dark sunglasses like you got something to prove you ain't got shit to prove that I got something for you get your ass out of Pittsburgh where they can be champions again

Been a Steelers fan since 1976. I said that Ben shouldn't have been extended the 5-year contract and Tomlin should have been released 10 years ago. I'm a bit aggressive but I haven't seen the Steelers pedigree in that many years.

Mike Tomlin is a Hall of fame coach. All of your stupid comments are just that. Tomlin has more wins than Cowher, with the same number of superbowl wins and losses and a higher win percentage overall. Moreover, on this next extension, he will catch and pass Noll for the most wins in Steeler history. Remember, this site is only for real Steeler fans!

So you suggest that those of US who "see right through Tomlin" and know his success as a Coach is only because of Ben Rothlisberger and the GREAT Steelers Scouting Department and front office, aren't Steelers Fans? That is as absurd as a suggesting that a Frog is the most dangerous animal on planet earth!!!!
@samuelwilliams528
@samuelwilliams528 8 ай бұрын
A Golden Frog can be the most dangerous animal on the planet, sir. You are already showing your smarts and why your post is unfounded with no merit. Ben Roethlisberger! The one who lost the Super Bowl against Aaron Rodgers by throwing a Pick 6 and another interception for 7 points. Are you talking about The same quarterback that had two sexual assault charges? Are you talking about The same quarterback caught urinating on a golf course? Wow you are truly unique. Are you talking about the outgoing general manager that brought in Mitch trubisky and paid him all that money? You truly cannot be a Steeler fan!
