Beautiful work I’m looking for setting blocks as I have discovered many red work blocks which I did years ago and forgot about. As you probably know most of the red work comes only by itself them I put them in organized containers. Well now I’m a senior citizen and love your ideas in framing the beautiful blocks.

Is the Strip Tube Ruler the only triangle ruler you can use these "tricks" with? Was just wondering if other triangle rulers will create the same matches. It's not that I don't want to buy the Strip Tube Ruler, I just have many other triangle rulers. Thank you.
@NormasQuiltStudioNormaStark2 жыл бұрын
The Strip Tube Ruler has the markings and measurements for my demonstration and a variety of options, however other triangle rulers will work. Trust me -- if you do purchase a Strip Tube Ruler, you will use it many times.

I love this pattern. I am in a project where the idea is the same but the center medallion is a square of neckties rather than the round plate. Could you give me advise on how to lay out these ties in order to get the square shape instead of the round. You have no idea how much this information would be appreciated. Thank you in advance for any advise you can give me. D. Bowman

Thanks for the demo. I added the statler to my Longarm about 6 years ago and mainly use it for edge to edge. So in your demo you have to back track on one of the curves each time ? Is there a way to do that without back tracking . I have always done custom free handed and I think the back tracking would bother me .
@NormasQuiltStudioNormaStark4 жыл бұрын
Dear Dawn-- If you are doing free handed of course you can go forward on one side and then go forward on other side, and yes, you can go forward all the way to the end instead of going back like I did and then choose to "reverse start/end" on both designs OR choose the 2nd design first and the first design second and go forward again to end and should give you the same result as my sample with marking out twice instead of once. Does that make sense?

What thread did you use? Is it in the bobbin as well? What size needle? Didn't know about the E button:)
@NormasQuiltStudioNormaStark4 жыл бұрын
So Penny I was using an invisible thread called Whisper Touch Thread to detail the ties and I used that in bobbin as well -- in the video I zoomed in on a photo of it. Needle size is 1110/18 4.0-- E Button connects your node to End.
