I preheat my uranium into liquid at 1500-2000C then pump into the refinery inside the rocket (solo one, its smaller with the same dimension), use pipes made by tungstein and starting melting, took me only 10-15mins to melt down the steel

I used rocket engine to heat up uranium ores lol, put some uranium under, start the engine into orbit and back, keep doing that until the ore melt into liquid, why didnt I thought of glass lmao

I tried to do this on the Frosty Planet but the area outside the rocket is very small and doesn't expand even after placing the ladders. Is this bug or an issue with the Forst Planet DLC?

Too bad that in normal game play you cannot build a landing platform in a melted Spacefare Module... First thing I tried. 😀But I do like the extra space. Makes flying in style and with high morale so much easier.

Also protip: if you want the heating proceas to be faster, put a light source nearby, lit workapace buff gives every progress bar (except for one thing, cant remember) 15% speed boost

If people want to do this purely for additional interior space, you only need to melt like 2 tiles, opposite the hatch, and you could access and build inside the entire 32 x32 space through that way.

@@steamavila1818 yeah just enough to break outside the "room". technically you could break one block in the ceiling or the floor and ladder up/down - but i havent seen rooms where that is better than just breaking a 2 block height opening opposite the door. (i have never done this myself btw..!)

Since I'm using the small rocket, if it helps anyone, do the first step in space near the rocket to melt things (inconvenient) Then pump it from there into the rocket into the refinery

This game is not gpu intensive at all, its always CPU limited, and since its not very multicore optimized, processors with high clockrates and IPC's will do best

I'm using a mod called fast tract helps with lag alot especially in 1000 cycles and above. Simplifies most calculations by your cpu
