I wouldn’t say so. I’m not that great at it. You need to be able to break down complex problems into fundamental usability pillars. You need to understand user behavior and ground every design decision in research and data.

I’m sorry to hear it. Try escalating to your state’s attorney general. I’ve noticed that with companies with bad customer service the BBB isn’t very helpful but the local Attorney General’s office can definitely be!

Yeah I was hoping to avoid that but I am starting to see it as the only real option, they keep telling me that delivery can "Take up to 2 weeks" but that was over a week ago, and the delivery team is supposed to call within 48 hours of the Order being submit which they have not done. @@TekGeekHD

Thanks man, personally I've been a much bigger fan of Carmine than guards. I find it to be a deeper more light-sensitive red which makes it feel much more dynamic depending on how/where you're driving!

@@TekGeekHD I can see that. How hard was it finding the carmine? Is it more rare? It’s the one to have!

@@olivedrab Yes, Carmine Red was a premium color when guards was a standard option. Today, Carmine is a PTS color which is between $12,000 and $16,000 depending on the car. Took me FOREVER, too. I really wanted a carmine car and was losing hope, and this came up for sale and I scooped it up instantly.

Similar to my old 718 in Graphite Blue Metallic, which when I bought it was a special color for ~$3000, but is now a $12,000 PTS color. Same situation with Carmine red on this car now. Definitely. I'm in the same boat. It was this or the 981 Spyder for me (I find the 981's engine character a little more preferable personally) but I picked the GTS in the end because the weather here in WA is so finicky that I definitely needed the power top. I put it up and down multiple times per drive and being able to do that at up to 40mph was really what sold me to be honest.

Plus, we're in the same boat pricing wise too. This GTS was ~$90k delivered to me which was about $50k more than I got out of my 718 for (I sold that for $42k)

I'm going to be headed there again in a few months to raise it back up to stock ride height - I'm going to be selling the car towards the end of the year most likely!

Hahahaha yeah, I definitely could've. But, important to note, I didn't pay all of those price premiums. The changes in pricing happened after (during) my ownership of the car. So, it's newer owners who'd be screwed by it. I got in before the changes happened. I am also looking at maybe getting into a 911 next year. Perhaps a C2S Cabriolet, or a Carrera T. I'd miss the droptop though. So, it's a bit of a tough decision at the moment. I want one more summer out of the car though so it's a problem for a while from now. Thanks for checking out the video!
